Hey!

First off, I wanted to thank you so much for putting all these chanteys up - they're invaluable for putting in my writings and just very fun in general.

Also wanted to say that I find it interesting that I've heard this song sung in my childhood and in a completely different fashion.

Same tune, same chorus, but it seems to have been taken by the mountain men out west here in Colorado and made to fit some sort of legendary character. The lyrics, of course, have been duly modified
