what happend in ireland was not anarchy! it was a war for the civil right's against a foreign oppressor. they were not anti capitalist they were trying to get people who had no right to be in our country out and take back there own land. dont call the irish struggle anarchy or marxism. they were not anti establishment as soos as we won the south we set up our own establishemt its that simple we did not want to be ruled by unjust foreign monarchy full of inbred pigs. i think i said enough now
@SIGN666 Government "The organization that is the governing authority of a political unit" Politcal "Politics is a process by which groups of people make decisions".
Changing the name from Government to Collective does not change the definition, they are both the same thing and leads invariably to one thing.
So you tackled labels, but not the ideas behind the label.
That being said, you did not actually tackle the lables: "In the social sciences, the term government refers to the particular group of people, the administrative bureaucracy, who control a (nation-)state at a given time, and the manner in which their governing organizations are structured.[1][2]"
@GlobalAlternateMedia Actually my point still stands, the Government is a collective of people representing its own interests under the guise of the "common good", I am not seeing how this would be any different under any other collective organization, where people of similar interest would join together, and people of different interests would clash, that was the point behind my original comment.
"In the social sciences, the term government refers to the particular group of people, the administrative bureaucracy, who control a (nation-)state at a given time, and the manner in which their governing organizations are structured.[1][2]"
@GlobalAlternateMedia That only reinforces my original point, changing the name does not change the fact that collectives operate the same way regardless of the name.
@GlobalAlternateMedia I'll expand on my original point. Collectives are made up of individuals who are bound together based on common values(ethics, morals etc) and objectives, the goal of the collective is to accomplish said objectives--whatever they maybe--and keeping those objectives aligned with the aforementioned value system, but, since people vary so dramatically in terms of values, you will end up with a conflict of interest between different groups, which invariably leads to conflict
@GlobalAlternateMedia My point being that everyone coming together under one banner becomes increasingly harder with the more people you have, mainly because of the wide variety of different values people have, so having one main group representing all people becomes practically impossible.
@GlobalAlternateMedia It's sad to see that you have resorted to petty insults, I will take this as a clear sign that you are intellectually bankrupt on the subject and don't wish to further engage me in civil discourse on the topic which you wanted to discuss.
It's sad to see you didn't get I was joking because of mutual misunderstanding and continuing this by overly exaggerating.
Back on topic:
I asked who advocates that what you said, namely: "because of the wide variety of different values people have, so having one main group representing all people becomes practically impossible." Who advocates this?
Now, now, here, here. It's sad to see that you have resorted to petty insults, I will take this as a clear sign that you are intellectually bankrupt on the subject and don't wish to further engage me in civil discourse on the topic which I merely wanted to discuss.
(I can't tell if you said that jokingly or not, if you're serious you need to get that dildo out of your arse, and if you weren't serious: LOLZ! XD ... ya know. : |
a world where there is no class and people only do what they are truly good at and love, to reach their species being, not what the bourgeois want you to know to work for them... but i do agree anarchists are too damn hippie

Anarchism = no nation state, no bureaucracy.

"administrative bureaucracy" is non-existent in anarchy. "who control a (nation-)state" is non-existent in anarchy.
Whatever, not significant enough to discuss, agree?
