@Kenzelton Don't even try it for gaming. Laptops are terrible for gaming or anything like that. Your best bet would be to either build a gaming desktop pc, or to have someone do it for you if you have the money. The GPU or graphics card sucks, not only that you can only have 2Gb of ram on the motherboard, yet on top of all of this the processor is not good enough quality so basically you would have to rebuild the whole laptop.
Hey guys, I really need your help, here's my problem my DELL INSPIRON 1525, is damaged, I dropped it on the ground near the hard drive, and now it makes a weird self repeating sound and it says this whenever i turn it on: "internal hard disk drive not found, to resolve this issue, try to reseat the drive.", tried that and still the funny self repeating sound and still the damn error message, please help me, thank you.
Man!. I have this laptop and out of the blue most of my keys in the keboard are not recognized, meaning; it just do nothing. Then, to my left side, the few that works would type something else, example: If I press the a key, it would appear as W and so on.
One of the easiest laptops to remove the hDD from, I just threw in a WD 160GB in mine from a 60GB, took me 2 minutes. MSI makes laptops (netbooks) that are very easy to access HDDs from as well.
Hello! Nice to see someone who just might have a answer. I also own a Inspiron 1501. I THINK what I did was uninstall my CD/DVD while I was getting rid of stuff. Now I can't get anything. And of course when I go for help it seems like everything is so complicated I don't understand! I'm afraid to download any "drives" since it appears I already did enough damage. I'm better with XP. Can you help me please?
I wonder why macs aren't like this its retarded you gotta open the entire thing just to get to it but back in the 90's before steve Jobs came back it was just like most laptops today except netbooks
He forgot to tell/show to unplug the AC adapter, remove the battery, and make sure your ground yourself before operate on any components on a computer.
Thank you!!

No way it's THAT EASY... You must have done something wrong!
Go back and check it.
Like the time I R&R'ed a clutch on a Nissan/Datsun F10... 30 minutes!
