  • i read that book once IT ONLY MADE ME PLAY GAMES ALOT MORE THAN I ALREADY DID

  • ive been playing the mortal kombat series since ii was 5 years old and unfortunatly yesterday i ripped someones spine out with my bare hands after beating them in a fight now im on the fucking run THANKS MORTAL KOMBAT

  • Parents' fault. Da.

  • Ok, he did make a good point at the "if your kids play for TOO LONG periods of time THEN they become more violent" part, but still, bieng bullied and the family problems are STILL WAY better reasons for some kid to become violent.

  • (Part 4) they should just be more responsible when they buy a game for their kid. Anyway, sorry for going on and on for so long. I just wanted to tell you why I think that this whole "GAMESMAKEYOUVIOLENT" is kind of DUMB, if you think about it. Oh, and something else, sometimes teenagers play violent games to release their agresion. So could say that those games are helping them in a way. Yes! Younger kids shouldn't play violent games but that's their parents´ responsibility. Thanks for reading.

  • (Part 3) So lets see what did we learn today: We learned that you don't have to become violent just because you play violent games, you don't have to play violent games to become violent, that parents should be more responsible when they buy games for their children, and that violent movies can be even more dangerous for kids than violent games. I'm NOT saying that kids should play violent games! I'm saying that people shouldn't bash the game for bieng violent, (out of space again? WHATTHEF*CK!)

  • (Part 2) SAW movies or some hardcore porno will be a lot more shocking to your kid than Mortal Kombat or GTA.

    5. I played some violent games as a kid (not freakin Manhunt but you get my point) and I turned out OK! Most SANE people turned out ok! If the guy is INSANE, or unstable with no self control then the problem lies elsewhere. (which leads us to...)

    6. I think that the bullying at school and the family problems are way better reasons for some kid to become violent.

    (out of space, again)

  • 1. It's not the game's fault, it's the parents´ fault for buying violent games for their kids!

    2. Rating system! Ever heard of that? It's not like you can't tell if the game contains violence or not.

    3. NOT ALL GAMES ARE VIOLENT! Big shock, I know. If you don't want your kids to play violent games then give them Pokemon, Mario, Kirby, Sonic, or... anything! You don't have to give them freakin Saints Raw!

    4. Movies can be a lot more dangerous for your kids! I think that the (out of space)

  • It´s the parents´ fault for buying their 8 year old a game thats rated M in the first place, it doesn´t affect them anyway, i grew up with these kind of games and i´m not a violent person

  • I thought this guy would be like Jack Thompson, but he isn't all "herp derp games are evil" He actually says that games don't cause a problem with most people.

  • Apparently, Movies don't do the same thing

Despite not being interactive, Peoples cut off limbs look just like arms in the SAW movies.

  • saying that video games cause violence is dumb its a source of entertainment u dumb old fuck thats like saying watching jersey shore can lead to spouse abuse

  • ITS TRUE GO PLAY MOTHER

  • This is retarded. As humans we are naturally drawn to violence that why we invent ways to kill each other then help each other. Waste of 1.5mill dollars...

  • It's ok to snort coke, Just because a small handful will have there lives destroyed doesn't mean everyone shouldn't be permitted to do it now. .... Being sarcastic.

Only millions of kids play these games. If only .01% of these kids go postal in 15 years we will see at least one prime time news story a week. Just wait .

  • its all right to play violent video games even if ur a kid but just control ur self if u cant control ur self then i dont thing u should play

  • movies and video games dont effect kids its the action of our nation that influence us

  • Comment removed

  • Did you know that if you play shooting games then you will be more multi-task

  • I think video games dont cause agression. In modern video games the objective is usually to kill someone. I feel a sense of satisfaction after killing smeone. However when I cant kill people and i need to it often feels like im not good enough and that makes me angry. I also feel that people who might act out violently can use violence in video games as an outlet to prevent their behaviour. So killing in video games in mmy opinion doesnt cause people to act out violently or cause agression.

  • I have been a hard cord video game addict since the ps2, I have shot 0 people/animals, have not goten into any fight(not counting hockey), or missed a day of school. what is wrong with me?

  • ive played so much violent video games... since i was 4-5 my family has owned an internet cafe and i play for so long.... and when i go to school im the kid who is always quiet and is respectful to everyone >.<

  • theres no research "PROVING" that

  • @Luke51015 Excactly, that protentous fuck is an idiot.

  • Look, I've been a gamer since I was a 6 year old girl. I own a 3DS, DS lite, Wii, Xbox 360 and a PS2. NEVER in my life have I been violent after playing games, felt sick after playing them or whatever the news people say. It's all about the PERSON and the PARENTS. If a teen with anger problems or something related plays a violent video game, then yes MAYBE they might act aggressive. But at the end of the day it's all about the person who plays the games and for how long. Give gamers a break.

  • @MissBarghest I agree completely, blaming video games for violent behavior is nothing but a scapegoat. Its like saying Trees are to blame for pollution.(Srsly, a U.S president actually said trees make more pollution than cars. >__> )

I've been playying v.g's since since 5/6, even ones like Resident Evil and GTA. But some ppl say I'm one of the nicest ppl they ever met. Its not games at all that causes violence in ppl, its the one whos playing it. Hell, SCHOOL creates more violence ffs.

  • kinda the first video on youtube and in the media for all that matter where someone foreign to videogames talks about violence in them and doesn't inmeadiatly thrash them, but instead makes well founded studies, and has some valid points

  • Not only does Japan play the same violent video games that WE do they are based on REAL life violence created by adults.

  • this guy actually has a brain

  • i got into more fights befori got into video games

AND REALLY 1.5 MILLION YOUR FUCKING KIDDING ME

  • Violent video games are not bad, they are good. Because if I wanted to shoot someone or steal their car I could do it in the game, I would not have to do it for real. And BTW I have been playing video games for 8 years, never 1 fight.

  • Ive Played "Violent" Video Games,Not one fight

  • ive played 30+ hours of m rated games a week for 6 years...ive never been in one fight

  • I think if video games do cause violence it's a very small correlation. I mean so many of these people say fake violence causes real violence when I think it's mostly REAL VIOLENCE CAUSES FAKE VIOLENCE. I mean people make tv shows, movies, video games, books EVEN music etc. based on real violence one reason being they want to make media that makes sense and expresses emotion to the world. The actors of this visual media aren't really doing the violence but's it's like I said based on real stuff.

  • First of all, anyone buying their 8 to 14 year olds M rated games need to be slapped. Repeatedly. Second of all, correlation does not equate causation. Violent people are violent because of lack of self-control, not video games. Third, maybe if parents actually talked to their children instead of letting media babysit them, we less teen violence.

  • @AfroBeatProductions Agreed. My favorite part is how the parents then blame the creators of the game instead of themselves for buying it for their child/allowing their child to buy it.

  • i thought this guy was going to be a bias super liberal and say that video games are evil but i must say i was suprised lol

  • @lucariololol lots of religious conservatives blame video games too. Either way it is BS but please don't make this a liberal trait.

  • I went outside to kill people, when I got home my friend called me and told me that I have a care package waiting.

  • i play violent games a fuckton, but i cried for hours when my grandfather died. i still cant get over the fact that he's gone, my grandmother will be so damn lonely when all the sympathy gifts and overnight stays stop and we all have to get back to our normal lives

  • yeah i always go round teabagging people i kill in the streets =-)

  • pac man has made me into what i am today... a ghost eating circle

  • @mrzoomzoomzoom dont forget magic pill munching!

  • HALO 3 FTW

  • the key to life is everything in moderation.....

  • Weak Research by this relatively naive Psychologist. Longterm exposure to Adrenaline-Addiction has very detrimental effects on the minds of people. And the more one plays exceedingly violent video games the higher the tendency to severe addiction and its overall negative behavioural consequences. There is also a tendency to develop what I would call Unreality Syndrome; which is when one becomes desensitised to emotions and concepts concerning gratuitous violence, as well as other symptoms.

  • Am I the only one who realized his name was Dr. Lawrence Kutner...? House anyone..?

  • Violent kids like violent games, not vice versa dumbshits

  • 14 year olds seem awfully proud of how young they are

  • GRAND THEFT CHILDHOOD? the only thing video games have tought me from the protagonists is to remain pacifists, to only attack if attacked, violent video games keeped me disaplined

  • I played San Andreas and massacred people in it when I was 8, and my whole life I have been anti-violence in the real world.

  • i think LOSING in video games cause violence not violent video games NERD RAGE MOAR

  • this guy is propably jack thompsons brother or sumthin

  • I like all these comments that say I watch violent video games and I'm not violent. How stupid. They think that because something doesn't affect them it doesn't matter. How egocentric. How ignorant.

  • It's weird that people in countries where kids don't play video games are more violent then kids in countries that play video games. People that say video games cause violence are just as ignorant as those idiots in the 70's and 80's that used to call rock music devil music and tried to ban it.

  • And honestly i am more swayed toward violence after a good action movie than a friggen videogame

  • Omg! These scientists do studies blah blah blah! But humans cant be judged as a group but as individuals, i may be called a hippy for all i want is the world to be safe, yet i play more mortal kombat and cod than anyone

  • What a load of absolute shit. EVERYONE I know who play video games 24/7 are the least violent people. They wouldn't hurt a fly.

  • @ 2:35 Someone cannot play Splinter Cell.

  • i play tons of violent games and i want the world to be full of peace, happiness, flowers, and rainbows. AND I WANT FUCKING MANHUNT!

  • Wait a sec they shoved millions of tax payer dollars into this inconclusive study. "Well some kid who plays lots of games might be more violent but they might not be". Another stupid thing to waste our money on. Lol. I've been playing violent video games since i was a kid and i am against so much as a fuckin fist fight. Cops and robbers made my father kill people!!! =D

  • Videogames don't make me violent. Justin Bieber does!

  • Wait... so does that mean some kid could go to gamestop and go and buy GTAIV?

  • in the case of gta, what many ppl dont realise is that game was never intended to be influence in violence. it was made for entertainment. In fact i think it provides quite an honest to goodness sort of "look" into the life of mafia/gangster/mob life. i find the most appalling thing about this is how central it is on games. what about movies, tv shows, music in a way

why is it just on games when other forms of media can be just as bad

  • one of the strangest i found was the fact at how much kids block out things that are bad in general when i saw the shrek2 movie when i was younger i quite enjoyed it

later one i discovered that puss actually said "ass" in the movie. i was perplexed how i could miss such a word

  • Lol...the types of games do not affect the child, i remember when i was 5ish and i only liked to play grand theft auto to have the freedom of driving anywhere you want. What i do not understand is how a movie can go about saying the F-word about 5 times, have a girl in a thong, and have a kid being beat up in it, and still be pg-13 O_o In my own opinion movies are worse, since you can judge and have them reflect on you easier than a video game which stimulates you constantly. =)

  • I hate violence and I will kick whoever's ass that loves violence.

  • @snowsfater That made me laugh.

  • i no i play alot of violence but im not being big headed but im actually really nice to people

  • I play assassins creed a ton. The only thing i want to do from that game is PARKOUR!

  • yet they pick games that are a rated for 18+ years old and if you let them play the games then why not let them watch porn I mean if you’re going to ignore the age ratting in your argument then why not ignore it for porn, lastly violence has been around since man could think you only need to look at things like the holocaust, world war and the crusades all of which stem from a time before video games and are worse things to happen than a child playing a violent game.

    you could even argue...

  • @gggiiillllllyyy That history lessons that teach of these things could be causing violence by putting these thoughts into their heads however this is just a jest at the argument put forward by them.

  • They go on about violent games are making violent kids, those schools are teaching karate! That must make more violent kids surely!

  • If this was true, you'd see my few fans blowing up snowmen, throwing Doritos at politicians, doing drugs to jump on top of buildings, harpooning nuclear submarines, or doing one of the other completely insane things that happen in my games! How come no one imitates my games? Perhaps it's because people's minds aren't effected in a way that you claim.

A survey is a silly way to test this. And a waste of money. It shows nothing tangable.

  • this is not true

  • Are you really serious? You spent 1.5 million for a book when you could of been actually helping the states? Maybe you should care for the country before you actually pay 1.5 million to an asshole who would never know if video games do cause violence! And yes! I play M rated game while failing and getting A's and B's! 1 more thing! Getting bullied is NOT violent you dumbass! Just look around you! over 50% of kids play M rated games so THINK BEFORE YOU SAY!

  • Are you really serious? You spent 1.5 million for a book when you could of been actually helping the states? Maybe you should care for the country before you actually pay 1.5 million to an asshole who would never know if video games do cause violence! And yes! I play M rated game while failing and getting A's and B's

  • Already proven, Violent Video Games does not make children violent, infact reduced violent crimes by minors.

  • I don't play many M rated games. I PLAY MA+15!

  • The hardcore gamers might just be the least violent people. Unless they play WOW. D: Rage much.

  • when my dad was a kid there was only a few games none of them violent when he was at school kids were fighting with knives and someone had shot a teacher and hed been robbed i dont think video games cause violence YOU DUMBASSES

  • 15 hours a week? Childs play.

  • that old fart is just jealous that he didnt have the games we have now when he was growing up :D

  • I've played violent videogames from ever since I was 13.

And I have never got into fights in real life.

    Well except for once.

A fight with ended with me locking my opponents wrist untill a teacher came by to break up the fight.

  • All anyone needs to know is that video games don't make people violent.

  • Meanwhile in Japan... they used 174,630,000 Yen (1.5 million USD) towards their education so that it would promote respectable society in the younger generation because they already FUCKING KNOW VIDEOGAME DOESNT CAUSES VIOLENCE IN KIDS YOU STUPID WESTERNERS!!!

  • I bet many kids in my school play violent video games. Most of these kids don't do violence in school. I think all the violence they need is contained in M rated games.

  • so this guy spent 1.5 million, to watch kids play video games, then ask question which will influence their thoughts to get the statistics they need to make games seem worse than drugs and murder...

  • If games did cause violence, I'm sure that Facebook would be full of

"Just off to kill someone else now, bye guys!"

"What is this, like your 8th person now?"

"Yeah, You're still beating me though, I mean, 24 people? That's almost enough for a nuke to suddenly appear out of nowhere and cause no destruction!"

  • dude, my first experience with violent games was duke nukem 3D, AND I WAS 6 YEARS OLD. I'ven playing games like that in my whole childhood and teendays and I'm not violent, so, stop spending money to blame others for parent's own failure

  • What's funny is I did a paper on the research they did. Most of them only did a short term study and not a long term so the evidence of all this is really inconclusive.

  • such a dumb argument, the people that are already violent will do what they will, the game doesnt really do much, its just an outlet to calm them until they will do what they were going to do before.

    Dumb concept

  • Why is everyone going on about how violent video games don't cause people to shoot/kill each other? The researcher isn't saying anything remotely about that - he's talking about how violent video games might possibly cause things such as bullying, school vandalism, breaking rules, etc. This is not about whether a kid can discern fiction from reality, but about how violent games may stimulate aggression.

  • @ShoutOutLoud3

May being the magic word here. Not having sex also may stimulate aggression. Or not having a candy bar in time

may stimulate aggression. I can come up with many reasons and use the word may to make my point. Also by not mentioning the psychology factor here it already undermines everything they say.So yes,I agree that the guy in the video is not bashing but he is implying which is just as bad.

  • Comment removed

  • 1.5 mil or our money given to these dumbfucks. Why do I still pay taxes?

  • This man is the most ignorant fool I've ever seen. He literally deserves to be put in prison for the resources and time he took.

  • it's not like a kid is going to play call of duty and then blow up a helicopter

  • @PissedPlayinPimp well said

  • You know, though this guy's kind of a prick, calling his wife his "partner" and such. I have to say I agree with what he's saying. He's not saying that playing violent "M" rated videogames causes violence in real life 100%, he's saying that those who like playing violent videogames and play them alot, are the ones that are more LIKELY to have behavorial problems. Just because of the fact that violent people tend to enjoy violent entertainment.

  • @Thromnabular I think he meant "partner" as in "partner in research." They were working together on the study, they were partners. How is that being a prick?

  • People who think violent games make violent people

1: most kids who randomly shoot people at school either have problems there, or are retarded

2: no one, NO ONE will play gta 4 then go outside, steam a car and kill people

and 3: if u dun want ur kid to play it, DONT LET THEM

also, people who play videogames dont rob banks

    THIEVES DO

  • THEYE WANT US PLAY ON WII!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW IT! Come on Ps3 lets put u in a safe place and lets play God of War XD!!!!!!

  • I am 10 Years Old

    I Play....

    Gears Of War

    Halo

    Call Of Duty

I have been playin violent games since late '08

never thought of stealing things or killing people

  • People are missing the fact that the guy specifically addressed the fact that it is a correlation. He wisely avoided suggesting that video games actually cause violent behavior. All he did was present his findings, and didn't make any claims about causation. Kudos to him.

  • Urgh! Why is it that idiotic people just cannot see that this whole link between video games and violence does erm NOT EXIST! I mean seriously. I have played GTA for hours before killing people, stealing cars and causing mass muderder. But I think I can tell the difference between killing virtual people who have no meaning in this world what so ever and killing inocent people with friends and family. Seriously =!

  • @sockschappercat

    We think the same. :)

  • Any gamer can tell you

    1. Even military simulators (such as ARMA2) do not resemble real life situations.

    2. If you enjoy killing then you are a psychopath.

    3. If you cannot tell the difference between real life and fantasy then you have a serious problem.

    4. It is easy to mow down human-shaped pieces of code with an machine gun shaped piece of code, but it is not easy to mow down humans with a machine gun.

I've played violent games my whole life and still feel bad about throwing a punch.

  • @sockschappercat Funny thing is i was playing gta i was speeding away from cops after stealing some guys car. I accidently ran a pedestrian over....you know what i did? I pulled over and let them kill me.

  • :( ?

  • I got it better. After playing frogger I dressed up like a frog and tried hop across a Highway... You might have seen I caused a 62 carpile up and got 60,000points. My lawyers says it's my bond, but he's just jealous. :P

  • I played too much video game and that's why now I'm a PSYCHO SERIAL KILLER. lol just kidding.

Actually it is because the "voices" told me :^)

  • Blaming video games was only started because bad parents dont want to admit they ARE bad parents. Very first game I ever played was Mortal Kombat Trilogy on the Playstation. I was 3. I dont like violence. I dont try to rip peoples hearts out. Because my parents taught me right from wrong and when I did something wrong. I was punished. They were good parents. To this day (I am 17 now) I still play these kind of games simply for entertainment. And another thing. Since video games. Crimes gone down

  • Saying we should ban violent video games because it messes some kids up, is like saying we should ban milk becasue some people are allergic.

  • why dont they just actually watch a kid play a violent game instead of say ohh this is what their like lol check my school is haveing problems with sexuall harassment

wow this vid pissed me off

  • why dont they just actually watch a kid play a violent game instead of say ohh this is what their like lol check my school is haveing problems with sexuall harassment

  • why dont they just actually watch a kid play a violent game instead of say ohh this is what their like

  • the government funded the program not to stop video games they want violent games to make better soilders of the youth. more violent more intellgent more like a perfect soilder made by the govt. if its true i approve. i love video games and soilders horayy for games that kill.

  • @thearcticfox101 Video games dont make people better at killing. Infact most violent games are really unrealistic so the average gamer (if he had the balls to fight which he wouldnt.) would probally make the dumbest mistakes getting his ass killed pretty quickly. They probally wouldnt even know how to turn off the safety.....

  • I can see this happening around ages 9 and under, but after that most children can discern reality from fantasty.

  • @sk8ordiekooks I TOTALLY agree with you. Thousands of teenagers play violent games like GTA and can discern fantasy from reality. Conservative people underestimate teenagers.

  • 15 hours a week? What? I play 15 hours a day (when I have enough time and feel like doing so). Over 90% of my game collection are M rated (mostly) competitive games. I love violence... as long as it stays in the fucking game. IRL I'm almost pacifist (almost because I'm always going to respond to violence aimed towards me with violence, just like most of the people).

Whoever kills somebody because he seen it in a game is psychopath. Plain and simple.

  • I don't care that violent video games might cause some people to get more violent. Violence, death and destruction is part of life. Most people are able to suppress it and that's good but to even believe for a single microsecond that society will reach absolute zero ever on the violence statistic is naive, irresponsible and ignorant. What we can do is to take care of each other better. With Respect and Understanding can we dodge the violence because in the end that's where it all starts and ends

  • "violence in video games makes people bad!111"

"have you ever played a video game?"

    "..."

  • Finally an educated opinion. This guy is right. Violent videogames do not make people violent, but they *may* attract a small portion of ALREADY VIOLENT people to them. That's not the fault of either the videogame companies or the healthy players.

  • haha and the commercial is about an alienware laptop.......

  • 0:05 No it fucking hasn't, well maby if you only watch Fox News and NOTHING else.

  • This is from my social psychology textbook on violence and children:

Watching violence makes feelings of anger more easily available and makes an aggressive reponse more likely simply through priming. Thus, exposing children to an endless supply of violence on TV, in films, and in video games makes it more likely that aggression will come to their minds as a response to real life situations.

  • The basic gameplay philosophy of any game, even a board game, is to either beat an aposing player(s) or to reach victory withing the confines of the rules of the game. this works fine when you're playing mouse trap, but how else do you translate that gameplay philosophy into a realistic interactice and often narrative driven experiece.

it's hard to make a game that doesn't involve either puzzles or the act of either subverting the attention of and, or harming AI obstacles in the form of enemies.

  • games feed the imagination, there like books, interactive and not boring. violence is in every form of media, not just video games. showing halo as violent, HOW....because you have a gun, its parenting thats the problem, if parents actually said no to there kid having an 18r game, you wouldnt have this so called problem would you, get a life, stop making excuses for bad parenting, all you have to do is say NO to your kid when they ask, not hard.

  • this is the one professinal in this entire subject that i found with actual evedince of theire claims. it seems that all people who preach"games cause violence. we did the study and the tests and there is evedince to show that its true" cant show anything but there word. and to me a word is nothing without something to back it up. these people have no evedice what so ever. i could never find the notes about there studies.they dont egsist as far as im conserned. good sir i may just buy your book

  • If violence in video games causes people to be violent, then why is Japan's crime rate so low? Have you seen how many brutal, bloody, violent games come from Japan, and how often the kids there play them? Obviously a violent person would like playing games like Grand Theft Auto, God of War, and other things like that, because that's who they are. It's not because the games made them violent.

  • I watch violent movies, violent games, read violent material from time to time. But i am a total pacifist.

I hate the wars going on

I don't condone violence on anyone

    And i am 14....

  • @slashsslayer97 Depending on the situation you are in, you will be more prone to act in an aggressive manner. You're also desenstizing yourself and you won't care if you witness or see a violent act occuring. So you become indifferent and apathetic towards people who suffer from violence and you'll be more accepting of violence, as a necessity of modern life. The reality is violence breeds violence.

  • @slashsslayer97 It is better to be violent, if there is violence in our hearts, than to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover impotence. - Gandhi

  • I am literally the top student of the Junior Class at my school (got my transcript today), and no one plays as much video games as me.

  • Games are rated M for a reason, its up to parents whether their child is old enough to play a game and handle it in an appropriate manner. I've been playing GTA and Halo since I was ten years old, and at the time I as an individual was able to handle to the violence presented. However, that may not be the case for other children of that age. It is up to the parents, not game developers, to control what their children do.

  • i dont play m rated games I play MA rated games :)

  • This guy has a good point. If you actually watch the entire thing (which it seems like some of you didn't...) hes not dissing gaming at all for causing violence, but kids who like and play MANY of these M rated games would seem to like violence in the real world.

    Which makes total sense.

  • where I live the kids who play games stay out of trouble but the kids who dont just get into to fights ant smoke weed explain that.

  • I personally do not have a problem with violent games but really if they are going to moan at someone they should moan at game developers rather than those who play it. To be honest there is always going to be violence in our society and like he said, those violent people will be attracted to those games. But it doesn't cause violence.

  • Children do not have anything to do with what comes their hands because they are the parents who buy and give to your child

  • I actually think it would be more fucked up if someone didn't play solely because they feel empathetic than if they just weren't interested because that shows they have less ability to tell real life from video games than the person who plays violent video games solely because they're fun. That isn't saying there aren't seriously messed up games out there because there are. But people generally stay away from those games (graphic torture, rape, serious moral decisions--except bioshock).

  • I think it really depends on the individual. It may be fucked up in surveys for me (and many others as well) to admit, but I like violence. I like killing, destruction, blood and gore. There's no sugar coating this as a means of protecting our practice and enjoyment of doing so. But I like these things as a form satisfying my competetive instincts. I'm not going to stop playing when I feel empathetic but when I start losing.

  • grand theft child?

  • This is so stupid lol. Kids that play video games dont become violent you idiot. They fucking dont do ANYTHING! They sit in their rooms or basements and dont do shit all day and night. You didnt need to spend 1.5 million to learn that shit, all you had to do was pay attention to what you see around you!

  • @TheTrollMagic Amen, man. Couldn't have said it better myself. You can tell anyone who takes the side of video games causing violence has never been a gamer in their life. All us gamers know the truth :P

  • fuck you peice of shit America needs violent video game's such as - gears of war - killzone - and grand theft auto GO VIOLENCE!

  • the kids that do violent things after playing a game are fucked in the head

  • a friend of mine he somtimes gets realy mad by that i mean fucking mad and he isnt allowed to play any games with violence in hes intire life

  • @OneNotOnly yea its mostly the parents fault not the child because they buy the games for them and don't even observe them, but i think these media are dumbasses they will never stop but if you want to keep the games for some child you should sign up for the gamer petition just type in google video game petition and click the first link. They should just warn and let the parent know about what games they give to the cihld.

  • @OneNotOnly so true im almost same like you but we have to not let other people who get mad easily and young children play these because everytime i play online games and comment on game videos they say things like insults from video game quotes and curse and threat on the mic. Just check out angry people on xbox live the parents should observe the child to see if he is good to play rated m games and if he does he can play but if not then don't buy rated m games for the child.

  • If you want us to stop playing M rated games quit rating all the good ones M, nuff said

  • @OneNotOnly M = 17+

  • video games, movies and music does not cause violence. People were violent and cruel way before all that.

  • @Chester781 Yeah thats right

  • lady at 2:24 has a HUGE ASS

  • I don't know about you, but Minecraft sure wants to make me go out into the real world and kill people's animals..... I also play more than 15 hours a week. I am at high danger.

  • what makes me violent, is those people who said violent video game made me violent

  • Parents need to understand that kids just want to have fun. I had a friend who told me to get a game for my birthday that we could play together. It was the only thing we could thin of that we would want to do together. My mom said no and now I haven't seen my friend in months.

  • Morality is all bogus. There's no "harm" in kids being "exposed" to violent games and movies, but no one dares to say it due to political correctness. We are two whole generations of boys who grew up watching/playing all the "forbidden" stuff, and 99,99% of us are not violent killers or mentally scarred people. All kids KNOW that it's not okey to shoot/blow/beat real innocent people up, or mow down people in the streets while driving etc. And that's despite playing tons of violent games.

  • @hellspawnds o and dont forget to mention that we all know not to rip off someones head with their spine attatched(mortal kombat for those who dont know)

  • i only play rated M and rated T games and i play 30 + hours a week

  • its all wrong video violence doesnt do shit

  • I have played, Blood, Soldier Of Fortune, Carmageddon, the GTA series and countless games and I am yet to kill someone......

    15 hours a week? that's okay, howerver, 15 hours a day, there's a problem.

  • I WILL KILL EVERYBODY THE DEMON FROM MY SOUL FROM PLAYING GOD OF WAR HAS TOLD ME THAT I AM CAPABLE OF GRABBING A RIFLE AND SHOOTING INNOCENT PEOPLE WITHOUT REPERCUSSIONS!

  • @BenjaminEllett OMG I SHALL HELP WITH MY ENDLESS GRENADE RAIN >=D
