@bricktownfiredept Looks like the video was uploaded in 2007. I saw the Engine numbers on the video notes and was like wth? All the Fremont units now are Engine and trucks 51-60 and battalion 6. The new units had to be more than 2 years ago.
Certainly looks spectacular, especially the last couple seconds where the house looks fine, except for all the smoke coming from the hole in the roof.
This fire was difficult because the attic was full of junk to the brim, and the celling was reinforced to hold the load making it impossible to punch through the Sheetrock with an attic nozzle. (not up to code)The contents also added to the fuel...thanks for watching
When was this? Fremont got new units a year or so ago.
