Reillo9, the game starts on Link's birthday, or his 'coming of age', which is 12 years old. On the 12th birthday of every boy, (This game is supposedly set 100 years after the events of Ocarina of Time) they dress as the 'Hero of Time', which is the green garb that we know in here simply as the 'Hero Clothes'.

it's a great game, as good as any zelda game...you must buy it!

It really is a great game. If you played any of the other Zelda games you should get it. But I suggest you maybe buy a Wii instead of gamecube, since the don't really make new gamecube games and the Wii can play gamecube games as well.
