So, there may be some confusion here. There are two hulls that have been built by Eliminator with eerily similar jelcoats. One is a 28 footer, which has Ilmor's. The other (which I have ridden in) is a 30 footer with 500's. So, depending on which hull this is, it could have Mercury 500's in it, unless you are absolutely confident that this is a 28 footer.

@drummmnutt1 Ok, so i turned it up and I do think is sounds a little differant than a V8. But only a little differant. If you listen to a Corvette compaired to a Viper there is a HUGE differance! But, the comparison is much less noticable in a marine application.

my guess with the xr drives is twin 525 mercs that is what it sounds like anyway.

Look at the drives too. They are Bravo XR drives. If it had ilmore's it would likely have standoff boxes with Imco extremes.

You are very close!! it is a 89 and its 24ft, a mark6 502/502 now resides in the engine bay and the thing really goes good. a GPS run will be in order this summer for a try at top speed.
