My cynical douchebag side keeps sounding alarms. I do wonder about Ms. Titus in terms of how much this is about general fairness and the general welfare of human beings (which includes men). I could be TOTALLY wrong but the following scenario comes to mind: Ms. Titus gets a divorce. She's got an interest in another man (possible careerism as well). I know of a single father who had a one night sexual encounter with a girl that had stalked him in high school. He is dealing with an unstable mother and her naracisstic father, an unfair Ontario justtice system who have literally ruinied his life emotionally and financially. He loves his child unconditionally. The story of the injustice of the Ontario court sysem is unbelievable. Why are there not more protests by single fathers and their supporters. I would do anything to help.

50 % of married Canadians divorce. 47.5% make their own agreement for their divorce including the care of the children and the finances. The other 2.5% are unable to agree for whatever reason. As time passes, hopefully the people in the 2.5% category heal and adjust themselves accordingly.

I strongly believe that woman should have to provide recipts for all purchases in regards to child support. Many times the bitches blow the money without actually taking care of the children.

dunisback is right, the only way forwards is to stop paying child support in unison. It would be a political minefield to criminalise millions of honest men. The system would have to change over night.

Until this happened to me, i would never have believed that a person i once loved , could be capable of such torture to myself and my children. There is something you should know. This system has evolved into a muti billion dollar slave trade. Men are slaves to the system, no rights, no say, just bills from the lawyers and child support.

The lawyers are not working for men. They are using the kids to create confrontation with the women, to make more money for themselves.

The only way out is for men everywhere and at the same time, to stop paying child support untill the system is made fair for all. Its all about the money..

After 5 years both kids came home[daughter was15 then but son only 9 then so she took him back after 1 month,you should see the sick mind games she does to him! She claims to love them,then why did she lie so many times to keep them from me and look at my kids now!!!I now know why men murder their wives,it gets pretty depressing when you find out you are worthless to them as that is what they were shown by the "system",I am ashamed to say I am a Canadian,this country is SICK!!!

with"police enforcement clause" added,the story spans over 7 years wherby I had to learn the so called "family law" system which always sides with the mother even when you have taped evidence to prove she is lying,ya she used the chrildren to get some strange kind of vengeance on me but I never gave up,unfortunately my daughter has been "cutting" for almost 5 years now and our son is very angry inside.She used the courts and police and they much oblidged her sick games,a father has NO RIGHTS!

What is your adress for Father's For Justice,we need a chapter out here in Alberta,there's a lot of men jailed out here after trying to see their kids[I myself was Illegaly jailed on false charges,I videotaped this event,my ex gave false statements,and paid lawyer500.00 to show video in court,she was never charged once for all the false statements,the prosecutor called the RCMP and told them to get their act together,they never did and refused to enforce my court ordered access

I debated a long time about answering this post about my ex-husband being abusive.

Would throwing a lamp at me while I was breastfeeding abusive? ( by the way, only a few dozen shards of glass fell on our son, who was ultimately okay ), does pushing me to the floor repeatedly while I was 8-9 months pregnant abusive? Is having my nose broken while sleeping in bed next to my 3 year old son abusive? Oh yeah, my other son had the priviledge of 'watching' that happen.
