Well, in this episode Speed gets shot and his gun is not working. I've borrowed the CD set from the library and a lot of scenes from the CDs are messed up. I couldn't even see the part where Speed was hooked up to the lie detector test. The beard looks better on him.

Horatio's belate B-day gift to Speed meant that Speed didn't clean his gun. Speed is a very good CSI. Why wouldn't he know how to clean his gun? Dispo Day & Lost Son? I can see why Rory left.

Hello everyone. I am a late bird to CSI Miami. Let me make a long story short. I didn't start watching the show until 2 months ago and that was on a Friday night, where three shows played back to back. Anyway, at that time, I wasn't introduced to the sexy man name Speed. Wolf played in the episodes. But, when I found out about Speed during the 12 p.m. shows, he pulled me in completely.

The actor wanted off the show and out of his contract three years early, so, they killed him off so he could exit his contract. They interviewed him on TV guide right after and he said he just didn't feel like he fit with the show and he wanted to seek other possibilities. I was sad, too. I miss him, but if a situation isn't right for you, then it just isn't and making yourself miserable is a waste of time and effort.

Speed comes back as Eric's hallucination in Season 6...because Eric was shot in the line of duty in Season 5, he loses a little of his memory, which affects investigations he's going through...at least he's recovered from it though...

well there would be tons of cars cause not only was he a police officer, but he was also a csi. Also, they would have done it also for effect. Horatio would have also felt bad and would have made an effort to make him remembered. hope that answers your question!

Yes, in honoring a fallen police, or any sort of armed forces, the entire police station is required to go to the funeral, they escort the body and stay for the burial. they also give them the 101 rifle salute which was obtained by the british army for fallen soldiers
