One more reason not to reinflate the property price bubble pyramid selling scheme is in the UK we work too much, to pay too much for too small dwellings. So don't do it.

Despite all that i have worked my butt off to make sure as many people as possible, get to hear this song. Its not about winning, its about spreading the word...!! Even Coldplay are getting in on it

I saw this at the start of the competition and from someone with clinical depression and on medication and a marillion fan (!!) I can just say this video touches every bone in my body. excellent!!!
I think it does contravene the terms and conditions as it contains copyrighted material. So while Marillion's ethos might be to "break rules", I'm sure they don't mean their own rules in their own competitions! However, if it spreads the word then that can only be a good thing, even if I personally think the association is extremely dubious :P

It is the ethos of marillion, to push boundaries and break rules. There music continually defies what we expect it to be, it is always better, I have merely recycled some appropriate clips and put them together in sync, i may contravene the terms and cond. but i will still have spread the music of Marillion, it is after all the taking part that counts ;-))

well done - I am figuring that Samaritans is an organisation that helps folks with depression. Do you have a certain connection with them, or a story that influenced your pretty much making an ad for them? Don't get me wrong, I like the result of your work - it just felt like a big plug for Samaritans. I am hoping you win, esp. seeing you will donate the prize to such a worthy cause. The song kinda led me to it, i am fortunate enough not to have used there services, but the lyric 'Need to talk' I thought, if i needed to talk to someone who would that be ? The samaritans popped into my head, and as i explored the lyric further, it kinda lends itself to a dysfunctional relationship, of which i've had a few, i then searched samaritans on Youtube, then by absolute chance one of there own promo clips had a piece of paper floating with'Need to talk' the rest as they say is history
I absolutley agree with your sentiment behind the song, and think it's a brave choice to practically use the music as an advert for the Samaritans. I've used their services more than once and they deserve more credit than they get - it's not just stress and depression they can help with. It's a lifeline for a lot of people and for many more it really does give you someone to talk to when you need it. Well done though. Keep talking. Keep Listening. x
To be honest the tags really only affect the related videos box, no one would type in rock in a youtube search engine, spread the word, my link is all over Facebook, in unusual places like a high school musical page where they have 125,000 members, those kids cant resist a Youtube link, thats all this is about spreading the word, Youtube doesnt work on its own, its banned in the most populated countrys, get links posted everywhere
Any chance of upgrading some of the video-quality? It is at times a bit blurry.. I really like the combination of the song and the message you are trying to get across.
The small section in the middle does go blurry, but that was the best quality i could find, and i really like the text that comes with it, click the high quality link and watch full screen ????
