This looks like a nice design but I must say I can get the same results using my Cam Caddie Scorpion. $38 on Amazon and for the past year or so I've been able to capture some amazingly smooth shots.
@MrsPalmerTV Check review by By Baris Seker. If the man says he can see hand shaking on his video using "Cam Caddie Scorpion", I believe him. This video does not show any hand shaking.
this is going to come off as an extremely stupid question, but how does it work? and by how does it work, I mean what's the point of the washers on the bottom?
The cars are all early Porsche 356 models from about 1950-1966. Video is of a California 356 Porsche Club gathering. Mine is a red convertible speedster which you can see on some of my other videos on my You Tube channel "nellrockinc " enjoy and thanks for looking...
...I made the ball joint from a sink drain stopper rod. I cut the end short, about 2" and threaded the rod with a 1/4" x 20 dye , so I could use a 1/4"-20 wing nut. I used a 1/2" plastic pipe and threaded cap with a hole drilled in the end . I made a spacer from plastic wire nut. I filed the plastic pipe cap to receive the ball and move very smoothly. I have added a black foam bicycle handle bar grip which fits perfectly over the pipe to make a good looking and comfortable grip.
Another do it yourself video that does not show how to use the item. A waste of time
