i think Saban didnt necessarily do "justice" to Zyuranger, but i loved MMPR. When disney bought it out was when they just ripped it off. Saban litterally turned Zyuranger INTO PR. Disney turned Sentai into american. badly.

The owner of POWER RANGER series belongs to Disney... which i think is not suitable for their company image because no way a company can maintain presenting cute and lovely character on one show and broadcasting a totally opposite show on the other side

i dunno if someones already answered this, but they're not using this "sentai" because (i think) it's too asian (no joke). I mean, the others were like about cars, dinosaurs, ninjas whish are seen as cool. But this time, there's asian characters used on the helmets, they need to use the characters for special attacks and it is pretty asian with the bells, samurai etc. I dunno

But i heard they're remaking MMPR, which should be cool.......Disney are doing it...look out lol

@chaoticwarzone I ididnt even know that the Power Rangers were an American version of anything! I found out this a few months ago while watching something on MTV, then I checked Google. That's how I found out about Samurai Sentai Shinkenger and Super Sentai.

@Marty2azn O.o? either you didn't watch tv a lot back in 95 when Power Rangers was the biggest thing on tv since the shopping channel, or you were never force to watch Disney channel, by a bunch of 6 year-olds recently, but that's how most people in America found out about power rangers and on to super sentai, however the way you found out is a lot less traumatic and mind melting then what people had to suffer.

Kiba Ranger in Dairanger even blows up girls skirts and uses his powers to be a complete dick. =P Carranger was a total show based around making fun of that kind of stuff in sentai. Honestly, Power Rangers was a great adaptation of what sentai was. And come on. The Gedoushuu are scared of a white sheet? They back away every time the Kuroku run out with it. Lighten up, man. :)

@TakeruSTakomi I'm not totally saying that the American one is down right bad, but the one liners in the old sentai, and the newer ones ain't as bad as the one in the American ones, the Japanese ones just don't seem that out of place, or just thrown in for dialog, it was just lacking in creativity in script writing that made Super sentai great in Japan i'm not saying don't watch it, I'm just saying it needs work.

There have been other times in the super sentai that they the enemy fires on them while they are trying to transform and make a comedy scene out of it lol

I've been wondering for some time how the disc animation is supposed to work. Looks like instead of blocking the image during the switching of frames (which is how movies work), they make the reflector follow each frame so you see each frame cut into the next one as it turns, or something. Gotta get me one.
