tie knots in between the beads! it takes longer but it's harder for the beads to space over time, and it's not so tight. plus all the beads don't fall if it breaks!!

i would be upset to get leather. to me, buddhists should not use leather or eat meat. sorry, i dont mean to judge but i think a lot of people ignore certain things that dont fit in with their lifestlye. a person finds the dharma for a reason and changes their life to be happier and healthier. why not go all the way?

You might not want to be so quick to judge - H.H. the Dalai Lama eats meat, and I'm sure he is more versed in the dharma then either of us are. :)

@julesvern18 in my comment i wrote " im sorry , i dont mean to judge..." and his knowledge of the dharma is why he shouldn't eat animals.

Is that to do with reincarnation? Because if someone reincarnated into an animal that was destined to die by human matters, wouldn't that say something about their actions in their previous life?

@addotrail lol i love the point you are making but i dont take reincarnation that way. Even if some one has done that much evil, its not for me to decide to eat them for it haha i am not god or the law or the force of karmic retribution or chuck norris either for that matter XD take care
