I will never forget the night that I had the pleasure of having a lengthy conversation with Aaron, the most humble, down to earth person you could ever meet, I say it was a conversation, I mostly listened. It just so happened that everything he said were things that I needed to hear for my own personal life. Father God definitely speaks through this man and you can't help but be a little intimidated by his spiritual wisdom and openness about his faith in Jesus, but in a genuine and relevant way.
to see through your brother's eyes is indeed a gift for the one who sees. We R mostly self-absorbed, filling our lives with our own trials & tribulations, to remove ur troubles forever ( as is said so clearly in this interview) love and give to others meeting their needs - God will then take care of your needs. Thank you Arron for your caring stewardship of the life God gave you. Continue this effort with all ur heart - those who R in need will receive from ur willingness 2b God's hands...
For me, antiquity is so attractive because the only thing that can create it is time. We can make new things every day, at as fast a pace as we want, and we can even make new things that look old. But the truth of the matter is, the only thing that can make something worn and used is time, and that is very liberating because it is out of our control, and it moves in a way that can't be manipulated by us
This guy has a great way about him, and the music is really good. Very nice to see a music artist without questions about how to make the world better. Hopefully he can get beyond the fairy tale stuff (religion), so that his focus can be better...great artist though
I love cobblestone streets. I just love love love love them my cousin thinks I am insane because she lives in a small town with cobblestone streets and I get sooo excited every time I drive over them. She looks at me like I'm nuts.
iamkilroy - according to whose norm? yours? I am sick of how everyone who isn't some "bar jock" gets a "special label" these days. I would love to meet and chat with Aaron one day - he seems like a really amazing person!
I think it's obvious that he is mentally disturbed. I'm not saying that as an insult. I think his mind just runs too fast for his mouth and his overall thought process is very unique when it comes to social interaction. The lyrical aspect of the awesome band he is in must be very therapeutic for him.
I greatly admire this man and the way God works through him. I had the pleasure of meeting him last Sunday and he gave me and my friends granola bars. :)
You are a moron..with no concept of human nature..and you are certainly not a doctor, and do not know if he has been diagnosed with autism or not..and for another point stop acting "all knowing" you are making a comment on youtube..get over yourself.
okay for everyone saying he looks likes hes on drugs or whatever hes autistic. So hes not crazy or anything, he really knows his bible and he is so serious about God.
Its nice to see someone so seriously passionate about the truth and reality of life.
LOve mewithoutYou can't wait to see them again the 3rd time!
Yeah, definitely not autistic. I read the same interview and he laughed at it, haha. I would have, too. People blaming personalities and differences on sicknesses and substances. This world sure is an interesting one, in the least.
Unfortunately many of you are missing the point he is trying to convey in this video. The more you adore and praise and laud man (yes, including Aaron) and man's flawed design, the less you glorify God and his perfect design. It's a simple concept really. We need to make ourselves lower so He can be higher; less so He may be more. Less of ourselves and more of you, Jesus. I think mwY would agree with that statement.
i hope he realizes that asphalt roads increase travel efficiency by being way more durable than cobblestone roads. asphalt roads are also much easier to build and maintain.
Thus, resources are saved in the construction of asphalt roads versus cobblestone roads. these resources can then be applied to other things, like feeding poor people, increasing public welfare by other means.
i think cobblestone streets are awesome. i like old stuff. its not practical though.
people criticizing this video is funny. quit talking to the interviewer like he is a shitty camera man / interviewer. the point of it was not to be a great video but to better know an artist. please give the guy a break. sorry man. thanks for the vid it was great i love mewithoutYou. I also think Aaron Weiss an interesting enough person to learn about.
Thank you for being the catalyst of the things spoken about in this video. You helped make this happen. I thought you did a great job. Absolutely. Your questions and his answers were extraordinary.
wow. After any show of theirs or if I get a chance to talk to him or whatnot, It inspires me to write songs in a more creative way, and draw closer to the lord.
dudes, he is not the perfect man and he would be the first one to tell you that... people have said what you're saying to Aaron and he invariably gets sad and frustrated because the whole point of his music is to point people toward G-d and away from himself and his confessed sins. he's always thinking about quiting the band because he feels like it's all so in vain cause kids get the impression that he's some sort of superchristian.
i get what you mean, and i do agree with you and have actually thought about this. it does make me sad to know that what i've said might've upset him...and i will admit that the girliness inside of me led to that comment i made above. however i hope that it is understood that, personally, i completely acknowledge that aaron is not perfect (and i assume adamariela does so too, hence the 'almost').
i am simply very grateful to know of a person like aaron, and very happy that someone like him/mewithoutyou exists. i hope he will be pleased to know that his music and the way he has presented himself have greatly inspired me and helped me grow toward g-d - and it is exactly the fact that he is so human (as he has expressed so many times) that draws me to him. i have nothing but respect for this man, and am just really thankful to know of aaron weiss and his music :)
out of that entire interview, the fact that astounded me the most and helped me believe aaron really practices what he preaches; he remembered his name.
