  • Here we still sit. Waiting for world to act. WHY? Why are they any less important? Bashir has arrest warrent from International committee war crimes and is responding by committing another (demanding remaining relief workers leave) Millions displaced 2.5 million living in relief camps or on the run nearly a million lives lost. When will it be enough?

  • Thanks you to upload that video and show this inhuman disaster...

I´m from Buenos Aires-Argentina and we never get notice from Africa...

  • It is impossible to see this video hearing the Ave Maria, with out comming to tears. Now it is Somalia too, "the poorest between the poorest" are now there. The world doesn't understand anything os what is happening there and actually doesn't care too much. It is sad to see there are also first class dead children and second class.

  • I agree and here we sit- still waiting for the world to act more than 2 more years later. I do believe that the incoming US President has shown he will take action, in his choice for UN Ambassador who has long history with dealing with Africa and his own roots to Kenya. But my heart is heavy for those who wait. And wait. And wait.

  • Yes,but I believe we must all change our minds. We must realise we should not accept what isn't acceptable & if we just close our eyes things never get better but worse. This crazy sonofabitch who doesn't mind about his own people and all that bloody militias should be stopped but that means a risk. The same happened with Rhuanda. The world never acts until the deads are counted by hundreds of thousands.WE must be willing to pay the bill if we want these things to stop, if we want a civilized world

  • ICC is now demanding Sudanest President be charged with Genocide. Finally. This is the beginning of the end of the nightmare!

  • If those words mean anything at all, the President will use the leadership of the U.N. Security Council to get the peacekeepers what they need to protect the people of Darfur.

Talk is cheap. The time for outrage alone is over. The time for action is long past overdue. Every day of foot-dragging is another day of unspeakable atrocities visited on the people of Darfur.

The people of Darfur need protection NOW.

  • There is simply no reason why the most powerful nation in the world, together with its allies, can't find 22 helicopters to save lives in Darfur.

In last year's State of the Union address, President Bush said: "The United States ... will continue to awaken the conscience of the world to save the people of Darfur."

  • Last summer, the U.N. Security Council committed to send a robust peacekeeping force to Darfur. There was hope that with the arrival of additional peacekeeping troops, the worst of this humanitarian nightmare would soon be over. 10 long months later, only 10 percent of the additional 20,000 troops have deployed. Those that are on the ground lack the basic logistical and material support they need to do their job.

  • Sudanese bombs hit a Darfuri school earlier this month, killing at least 13 people, including seven children. The international community didn't respond for more than 48 hours.

The attack - and the miserable response - is yet another example of the world's failure to protect the people of Darfur. The U.N. approved a peacekeeping force for Darfur ten months ago. Less than a third of that force has reached Darfur.

  • thanks for taking it to the gutter Bruno stain- the real story is within us all that is where all Truth lies and your comment shows your sad Truth without going to any blog.

  • I agree- what you put out you will most definetly receive back- and that is truly expanding right now this year- Watch, Do, See- the Emergence is underway and being a voice or a hand or a heart for the invisible is one that will be rewarded on a Grand scale.

  • anyone who try to change this world will be blessed

  • She needed a longer life ...

  • Oh we miss you Mother Teresa.

  • Hi from Albania! Did you know Mother Teresa? I miss her spirit as well. She is needed in Darfur.

  • hi i am from albania i am cry alot beacuse i miss mother teresa and poor children are so cute and poeple god bless verybody

  • How fortunate you were to see her! I feel the same just watching video of her or reading her words.

  • I saw Mother Teresa in person in 1991 when She was in Scripps Clinic La Jolla CA... all I can say is that when she walked by... You just KNEW you were near the closest thing to "Christ"...

  • Whenever someone says, PRAISE JEEEESUS, I hold tight to my purse. I trust those who live JEEEESUS, and who have human doubts. God created us human. Thanks Mother Teresa for inspiring a lousy, stinking world.

  • Inspiring a lousy stinking world? Your name suits you. I don't get it. She only inspired selflessness, living Jesus like few since His time have, Hope, Love and compassion for the poorest of poor and discarded but be bitter and fearful if you wish.

  • You misread me. This world is tough, yet she brought light.

  • she loved the world anyway

  • i think it would have been a sign of a clear and inquisitive mind for Mother Teresa to question and doubt her faith. it's man's nature to question. to simply follow and accept everything, that's the highest nature of dogs and sheep. to look at your present situation with a perceptive mind towards the future is man's highest. it's how we progress.

  • And AbuCihan no the money she raised is not sitting in banks it has expanded her mission all over Calcutta and beyond in many other cities globally

  • i love mother theresa. she is my inspiration. I wish i could be like her, attentive to the poor and the dying. God bles Mother Theresa.

  • abucihan I am sorry I just found your response now. I believe controversy surrounding the upcoming book on Mother Teresa is horrible. To magnify private journals that she asked to be destroyed that simply explore the questions of faith she felt from working in conditions she worked in, seeing suffering and poverty she did, makes her all the more relatable and human to me. She remains a Beacon of light on this Earth Pure and true.

  • XXOOPisces you said - Yet for some reason they are NOT a part of the War on Terror. Hypocritical and inexcusable...Why? Because there is no oil there?

Your RIGHT, Americans WANT their CHEAP OIL. And SINCE these people are pretty much a NON-threat we don't care..Paris Hilton, MTV and CHEAP GAS are more important. What does that say about ALL of us?

  • Was not even mentioned in the State of the Union aside from mentioning AIDS assistance. They need so much more.Military help against TERRORISM of the most evil kind- the Jangaweed. Yet for some reason they are NOT a part of the War on Terror. Hypocritical and inexcusable. We may label it a Genocide, and Aids funds but we let Jangaweed rage on. Why? Because there is no oil there? There are even ties to Al Queida in Sudan yet still a decade later- Nothing.

  • Thank you Ronny and Thank you Mastud-- your comments warmed my heart that the energy and love put forth in this clearly reached you.

  • I feel deep down inside that Mother Teresa herself would be so proud of you for making a video as special as this. Im sure she knows what you have done. xxx

  • By Jove, you are one gullible fool . . . have a look at Christopher Hitchen's book The Missionary Position

  • i comment on whats good. Thats all.

  • What was good? I seem to be missing something, and do have a look at The Missionary Position . . .

  • I havent no. I guess i was brought up to believe she was a good person, like at school and stuff. I seen a few videos about the reality of her and to be honest, it gave me a shock! Was she really that bad?

  • Christopher Hitchens makes a good case, and even prior to reading his pamphlet, Mother T's adoration of suffering and poverty was plain to see: yes, she was.

  • oh well, doesnt really matter now does it. Shes gone.

  • But what happened to all the money she received over the years, that's probably still sitting the bank collecting interests . . .

  • I am deeply moved by what you show. thank you

  • Sure there is. You watched it. You get it. 55 others do as well. Its a Sea Change of consciousness on the Planet right now. From service to Self to Service to Others. Just depends what side of the Chasm you choose to be on. Many will continue as is. But many MANY will awaken and see Truth.

  • Most people would rather go on an expensive vacation rather than spend one SECOND helping one of these people.

An ocean may be less while missing that one drop but we don't have an ocean, we have a drop. Is there any hope for humanity?

  • It's a beautiful song- love song for most part but wonderful energy to it thanks for asking. It's in the credits of the piece and it's "Why" By Annie Lennox.

  • Hey, what's the name of the song that was being played for the first 1min 27secs of the video? And by whom?

Just found the song to be very uplifting. Thanks. :)
