Such a great game of badminton. Loved every minute of it. The partnership bewteen Emms and Robertson has been so solid for years, despite not winning an olympic gold medal. Let's hope Robertson can go the extra mile with Jenny Wallcot next year in 2012.

I like chinese woman's attitude after finishing the match. she actually smiled to the opponent. It is just a view of the third person.:-)

yeah gao ling has the best sportsmanship around in my opinion. That's why the great majority of people like her. She's hella good and a great sportsman :)

I wouldn't say this match is a comeback for emms and robertson, as Zheng Bo as a rookie, isn't the one who has defeated the British pair four years ago.

well tbh gail and nathan won the silver in athens and it was unfortunate that these two had to play in the first round. The british pair had missed alot of competitions bc of him having surgery, and that prevented them being seeded. I thought they were going to go onto gold after this but no it was a shame what happend next

My heart broke first time I watched this. Ling and Bo outplayed Gail and Robert most of the match. Until the last handful of points the chinese derserved the win. they really did.

gao ling is the best XD player alive.

@LeFrog89 Couldn't agree with you both more. Sport at its very best. I remember this match. I completely expected Robertson & Emms to capitulate and it was amazing when they won. Shame they couldn't follow it up, but they really did Great Britain proud on a world level at the Olympics and World Championships.
