  • would have been really interesting to see him compete at 2012 olympics for second consecutive gold medal, after all hes turning mere 25 years old

  • @tldevilsh Whatever you say buddy. You're the king of facts, afterall, cause all athletes take steroids!

    //sarcasm

    Douche.

  • @EndlersaurusRex hahahha and you are the king of the gays!!!because you talk like a huge pubic wart!

  • @tldevilsh *yawns*

  • @tldevilsh Virgins typically reply such as yourself, where they seek to insult others with hate speech because they're insecure with their own inadequacies. I can't tell if you're just young and immature, or if you're a full-grown adult with the mental capacity of a 12 year old prepubescent boy.

Why are you so mad? Pissed someone disagrees with you because you have no facts? Keep proving my points that you're a huge douche bag.

  • @tldevilsh My opinion on something you can't prove has no bearing on my heterosexual, contrary to what you say, orientation (and relationship).

Get over yourself. All you do is post comments making yourself look like a tremendous tool.

  • @tldevilsh Yeah, because my belief that not every athlete (I know professional athletes personally) takes steroids is based on my heterosexual, contrary to what you say, orientation.

When I say every professional athlete, you know I don't mean just weightlifters...and there are pro lifters who don't medal at the Olympics, bud. You're just narrow-minded and a douche. Saying other athletes that rely much less on steroids (hint, a drug used for lifting recovery) all use them is even more deluded.

  • @EndlersaurusRex if you understand what figurative speech means then you ought to figure what kind of point i was trying to make by saying every known athlete in the world roids. you and chinanite89 should get together and do what you fags do, and never to wake from the dream world you live in

  • @tldevilsh Figurative speech is the use of metaphors for ones point; you used extensive hyperbole for that point, which is not the same. Even the point you're trying to make is extreme. I don't live in a dream world. I know some athletes (like Liao Hui) have taken steroids and been caught, but to even exaggerate that all athletes take them is absurd.

  • @tldevilsh ....because 1) steroids are primarily used for recovery (unlike other PED such as HGH which serve as growth); many athletes don't need it the same way weightlifters do and 2) the amount of athletes not in contention for medals but who still compete at an elite level is staggering. Most of these individuals likely either have flaws in the technical approach or don't take steroids.

Hell, in the US athletes can be tested anytime, at any competition. Cycling is incredibly difficult.

  • Steroids or not, he's pretty ridiculous.

  • To bad ! You are banned for the WWC 2011 in Paris because you took some shit in your muscle ! :D Stupid prick :D

  • Where's the PROOF of “EVERYONE KNOW ATHLETES IN THIS WORLD DOES ROIDS?” Can't make a bold statement without a solid proof.

  • @ChinaNite89 the proof is in the history, end of story.

  • @tldevilsh They have to bust each and every athletes to make that claim

  • He's banned from the International Weightlifting Federation for juicing. Cheaters gonna cheat.

  • He'd be a problem for any pro footballer to get control of he's so blasted strong. If he needed to he could cut some hair to make weight like Nassiri of Iran did long ago. IMO his 198 has less merit than Rusev's 195 at 67.5 which was 2.888 x weight vs this one 2.869x Guenchev's rejected lift of 202.5 at 67.5 beats it if testing is disregarded. Can he really be so strong without any banned substance? Time to load up on cordyceps!

  • goku..superpower

  • the needlemark in his right arm is obvious signs of roid

  • @tldevilsh needle marks? where?

  • @tldevilsh nobody uses needles except for taking steroids, right? mr jealous

  • @iqof14 lol you fool

  • @tldevilsh not all accomplishments are achieved through cheating. show some respect for others. if all you do is talk down on what others achieve then you will never accomplish anything. well, just my 2 cent, maybe you do C&J more than him.

  • @iqof14 yea yea thats very humble of you but you need to get slapped into reality. if you think that people make it to world championships with pure heart and style of rocky balboa then you might as well believe in unicorns and flying dragons that spits fire. every weightlifter you heard of does roids, i am sorry i had to wake you up from your dream world, but that is reality and i hope you accept that as is.

  • @tldevilsh usain bolt takes steroids...manny pac takes steroids..im tired of ppl attributing steroids to everything...as if u can sit on the freaking couch and watch your quads grow like weeds and your clean and jerk shoot up. whether or not these guys take roids (good ole' guilty until proven), it still takes a ton of hard work to get there.

  • @AdmiralSeadog lol blah blah blah like people don't know being a champion involves doing hard work, let me just tell you what my point is since you don't understand, EVERY KNOWN ATHLETES IN THE WORLD DOES STEROIDS, get that through your head, maybe you're in a denial since you're young cunt and all, just take some time to realize

  • @tldevilsh lol im a young cunt? i guess the use of words makes me think ur some old cunt. lol not every known athlete in the word does steroids, sure a lot do, but wuts that got to do with u? some kind of retired football player still trying to live in your glory days? stfu , 5th string whatever the fuck u are.

  • @tldevilsh No, not every known athlete in the world does steroids. Not even all professional weight lifters do steroids. Get that through your head.

  • God incarnate.

  • Zhang Guozheng was the only guy who disliked this vid.

  • @sherwin3 lolz...nah man zhang is a cool guy. im sure hes somewhat dissapointed in his record falling, but hey if its gonna fall might as well be a fellow chinese lifter

  • Thanks for posting this video,

it is by far the clearest and sharpest quality video of Liao Hui i have seen.

    Very nice.

As for oscillation. I was taught at a young age:

Losers go home with excuses, (or in case rule books)

Winners go home and fock the prom queen.

and i'll bet Mr. Hui is doin just fine in that department.

  • why does liao hui look so fucking strong compared to the other lifters? so muscular compared to most other lifters

  • @yamaha893 Chinese sure love their assistance work.

  • I think its really hard to completely eliminate oscillation when a certain weight is reached. The weight starts to swing after the clean and you cant expect a lifter like that to just wait until the bar calmed down. Imo its not a real intentional osciallation, he is just "going with the bar " to avoid a conter and to use the bar´s wip. The rule is to prevent massiv oscillation as a intentional technice. It just wouldn´t feel right to give him a no lift here.

  • hey i saw that too it must be true

  • Genetic Freak

  • That 198 was easy he should have done 205 for his third that would have been epic

  • @ErNBuRn1 dude just because his 198 looked easy doesn't mean it was easy..his coach said laio might have gotten injured during his 198 attemp..that was nowhere easy you can tell by the look on his face how much mental focus was required to execute 198kg

  • FUAAARK!

  • common ..this guys no human hes a sayain

  • The commentator says he is from the People's Liberation Army. Obviously that can't be true because he is a world record holding professional athlete who lifts full time. The Chinese media is a propaganda machine that churns out half truths and outright lies designed to lend prestige to the CCP and PLA.

  • @jchien He's an athlete representing and probably sponsored by the PLA team in National competitions and even some singers hold military ranks such as Shuangjiang Li who is a "Major General". If I remembered correctly, even Pyrros Dimas holds a military rank in the Greek army.

  • @ChinaNite89 sure there are other countries doing the same thing, using professional athletes to lend prestige to their army. But it's a ridiculous and manipulative practice. Note the passion and mania of the commentator when he said Liao is from PLA; the patriotic fervor and the message are obviously meant to imply PLA has badass soldiers. I just don't like false advertising.

  • This can't possibly be good for your joints, can it?

  • @MrGracchio if thats not good for his joints, he wouldnt have been able to do that. he has probably been training since he was a little kid and his joints are as strong as joints can possibly be

  • @MrGracchio this exercise will actually strengthen the joints and prevents you from injuries, but these guys train too much so they wound up frying their central nervous system cells and under-recover and 1 second they lose their focus bam injuries

  • @tldevilsh Not if you lift as heavy as these guys. Moderate weight will strengthen the joints and ligaments, but it will wear them out a lot quicker. So in the long run, you'll worsen them.

  • @rush2905 so you're saying mederate weight will strengthen joints and ligaments, but it will wear them out quicker? seems kinda contradictory

  • @tldevilsh Any movement of joints will wear them out. The amount of weights these guys lift will strengthen them, but wear out faster. Everything in moderation ;)

  • The double knee bend is there. It's not something I would want to try and who knows how much it really helped him. Andre "The Oscillator" Aramnau on the other hand ...

  • @JSD808 lol

  • hey is it me or did he make the WR C&J without using a hook grip. see 7:45

  • @seeyuen2000 maybe he switched to hook grip after the camera moved away from his hands or maybe he use double overhand grip all along so it's crazy strong.

  • Watch carefully at 8:49 - this should be a no lift. No doubt that this is an impressive feat of strength, speed, and power by an athlete who dominates this sport; but this particular lift violates the letter and the spirit of the rules.

IWF rule 2.7: INCORRECT MOVEMENTS FOR THE JERK

2.7.2: Any deliberate oscillation of the barbell to gain advantage. The athlete and the barbell have to become motionless before starting the jerk.

  • To be sure, lifters who jerk immediately after the clean (e.g. Aramnau) technically violate the letter of Rule 2.7.2 by not waiting for the bar to become motionless before starting the jerk. However, there is a significant difference between utilizing the bar's oscillation from the clean versus deliberately oscillating the bar after the clean. Here, Liao gets almost all of the advantage of the oscillation with none of the fatigue associated with performing the two lifts as one motion. Thoughts?

  • @csaweightlifting my thought is that when you are good enough to lift enough weight to even make the bar slightly bend or coach an athlete competing against athletes that make the bar bend and may be at a disadvantage you can then try to drag down the achievements of one of the best lifters on the planet. Until then just accept Liao Hui is one badass dude regardless of some minuscule premature knee bend.

  • @bejjeagle I don't think anyone in their right mind would doubt Liao's badassery, but this is not a competition to determine the biggest badass (because if it was, Klokov would win in his sleep). We don't have to lift in Group A to have a reasonable discussion about our sport, and no one's going to "drag down" an athlete by debating the rules and the fairness of their application. I think all athletes, coaches, and fans deserve consistency, and the judges deserve a precisely worded rulebook.

  • @csaweightlifting liao easily wins the biggest badassery that day by having the highest sinclair ratio lifted with a WR as well, and for the rule that you mentioned, that only specifically applies to lifters that deliberately bend their knees to oscillate the bar, if the body is stiff and motionless, the bar can oscillate as much as it naturally does before the jerk

  • @csaweightlifting

I think it seems he slightly unlocks and relocks his knees in order to get a rhythm going. This may be more of a habit than technique a to get the bar oscillating since the Chinese are more or less trained to have the same technique.

  • @klbo08 Yeah I agree. You can see his knees moving slightly the whole time

  • @csaweightlifting idiot. its a world record ffs!

  • @csaweightlifting that's just the bar oscillating after Liao Hui got it up through the clean

  • @csaweightlifting if your gonna rag about this lift then you may as well call every C&J that andrei armanu has done

  • @csaweightlifting

Good observation, BUT if u say like this, all the records and champions in the past have to be removed,Obviously, this is your bias, if u watch all World Record or competition videos, there are a lot of movements violate the rules

  • @csaweightlifting

no i have to disagree, this lift is as clean as it get. I don't see any oscillation at all. Look at 9:07, he's in the deep squat, gets up, the only oscillation is from the weight plates bending to bar. This oscillation in so minute at best you're just nit-picking . This rule is in effect if trying gain momentum like a trampoline or like swing to get the bar moving.

  • @chavios Agreed, it isn't his fault the bar isn't strong enough. He definitely isn't exploiting the oscillation.

  • @csaweightlifting Yes but IWF rule 2.9 clearly states that if you immediately perform a backflip after a deliberate oscillation of the barbell, the lift is valid.

  • @ANeonTiger lol awesome chat! This guy is ridiculously good.

  • @ANeonTiger

    LOL!

  • @ANeonTiger Very funny man.

  • @csaweightlifting that rule loses its purpose when a 69 kg lifter is jerking 190 kg...xD

  • @csaweightlifting your mom is oscilating on my dick, that was a good lift, go comment on Aramnau's vids, he's the king of oscilation

  • Comment removed

  • Guy is a beast. His legs -- are those implants? I'm kidding, but his technique is impeccable.

  • That was some beastie lifts!! GO CHINAAAAA!!!!

  • i want to learn how to backflip

  • the lift at 7:50 and the celebratory jump is WIN. nice work.

  • que fuerte esta este chino la ultima vez que se rompio el record fue en el europeo del 2006 en polonia por aliaschuk de belaruss ahora esta en poder de este chino y por poco se rompe el record de markov en el arranque

  • the 198 was amazing! i don´t understand why this is a new record in the total though. boevski lifted 162,5+196,5=359 in 2000 olympics!

  • @onepounch I believe that time you had to add 2,5 kilo intervals to your previous attempt to make it count in the total. So boevski's 196,5 was really 195 in official results. That rule has been since removed.

  • @epaluoma yeah, thanks. i think you´re right. boevski´s official record was 357,5. stupid rule, good that it´s been removed!

  • ahhh re bien este chino si es de lo mas sobresaliente en la actualidad del mundo de la halterofilia y es todo un campeon

felicitaciones por su esfuerzo y constancia
