Yes, He was in 924 troop (the troop that was documented on) and he passed out as an original. However he didnt play a large part in the series but you hear his name mentioned on the mud run when he fails to takes his knees off the ground when doing a press up. I sound like a right nerd but im not, i promise im just observative lol
