If so I'm going to have to disagree because having height's good in some situations(lineouts) but when you need to get some manuevering you need some smaller agile people to get that done. If that doesn't work than most likely there will be some sort of high tackle and you'll gain momentum.

As I said, soccer requires more skill, but in terms of thinking, they are equal. It doesn't look like it, but you have to think a lot in rugby. Strength and stamina are clearly a huge part of it, but it's still an extremely tactical sport. There are tons of plays, and split second decisions to be made on the field.
of course it needs tactics, as it is more important than skills that's why it could never dominate soccer. it is like hitler's politics and tricks. they have the same in rugby.

Rugby is a LOT tougher. But soccer takes a LOT more skill. I've played soccer my whole life, and ive played rugby for about 4 years. You can't just pick up soccer, you have to train your feet since you were born. Rugby on the other hand, comes natural to anyone wielding testosterone, but sure as hell is a lot of fun
