I agree,my mother's family left for germany about 30 years ago,some of them moved back to greece later(like my family) and some have stayed in germany untill now(aunts,uncles etc)...none of my grantparents wanted to move to a totally foreign country,they just had to...so,we shouldn't treat immigrants like shit(I mean,apart from the system which is not helping,we,as citizens,shouldn't do it worse for them),we could be in their position after a few years...again...after all we're all humans,right?

One only has to read Aristotle and Plato to find that oligarchies are a bad form of government. Dictatorships can work, like Pinochet, but should be used in a limited fashion. Democracy is the worst form of government precisely because if the body politic as a whole believes in an unwise policy, and they 'rule' the country, they can really mess things up. And no I dont long for Il Duce because he was a socialist, I long for a form of government that pursues wise policies, not illusory solutions.

Let's see, I can take Pinochet, who implemented economic reforms and rolled back the parasitic welfare state, or, I can take Mussolini, a rabid leftist socialist, not a big problem for me to take someone like Pinochet. His regime went after socialists and leftists, and we shouldn't be too eager to follow what he did because it sets a bad precedent, but he saved his country, for a time. The fact the Duce was a socialist is exactly why I would not support him, I dont support socialism of any kind.
