  • I wish I would be half wise as he can be. Wish He become a great spiritual leader.

  • Beautiful-amazing, indeed proud of being Tibetan...!

  • I dont find this weird at all... its a circle. Its just rebirth, although at times as much as I like Buddhism I find that the religious aspects and the posturing and the rituals are silly... they have nothing to do with awakening! I dont know... I think its unncessary but then again thats just my ego judging... There is much work to do. Metta.

  • He will be a great leader for his people.

  • My deepest respect and admiration to this remarkable and focused young boy and his parents for sacrificing so much so that so many may benefit as a result of this young adept’s special upbringing and education. From viewing this video, this budding future Tibetan lama is well on his way towards helping alleviate the sufferings of many sentient beings with his future teachings and blessings. For that, we should all be so very grateful. Thank you so very much!

  • What a great story! So incredibly uplifting! Thank you so much for sharing. It is such a beautiful story showing so much promise and hope. With the Tibetan race and religion on the brink of destruction for a people without a free country to call their own, it is reassuring to learn that there are those that are really trying to preserve something that is precious and sacred. What a relief to see that this family is keeping the faith and practice that has been uniquely Tibetan for centuries.

  • I know this Tibetan family. I also know for a fact that Asanga Rinpoche’s parents have been approached by 60 Minutes, National Geographic, MSNBC and many, many others and they have decided not to let any of them do a piece on their son. They are not into making their son into a spectacle. This being so, yakmanok is not credible. Obviously he is very biased and a disturbed anti-Tibetan. He is a fraud. Best to ignore him as he is an trickster with hidden motives trying to deceive you.

  • I agree 100% with Tibetankid and think that Yakmanok is a biased, jealous, pathetic loser. To all Tibetans and supporters of Tibetans, don’t be mislead by Yakmanok: he is sick, stupid or blind and probably a communist at heart who wants to do away with anything and everything Tibetan.

  • Hey yakmanok,

Quit being a coward hiding behind an alias. There is something seriously twisted about you. You are pathetic and a total embarrassment to the Tibetan race. Shame on you for trying to demean and degrade such a promising young boy and family trying to preserve and honor Tibetan religious traditions and practices while in exile. Why don't you just crawl back into your hole and Shut up! I doubt you are even a real Tibetan. You are probably a communist and a sick one at that.

  • Hey yakmanok,

You have yak-shit for brains and yak-shit for a warped and twisted heart. How can you honestly say that this video is "money, power and status driven pursuit"? You are so very wrong. All that have seen the story see it for what it really is: a family supporting a remarable young boy who has chosen to follow in the footsteps of his ancestors while preserving and upholding the traditions of helping all sentient beings. Who the hell are you to pass judgement or say otherwise?

  • Tashi Delek! to Asanga Rinpoche - Future head Lama of the Saykya leneage. "Congratulations" You are a true inspiration to all the Tibetan Youngsters. Thank you and may you preserve and flourish the Tibetan Buddhism and the Sakya faith. Also congratulations to the fortunate parents who's intention is to help all the sentient beings by letting their son persue his wish and goal. Thank you on behalf of all the Tibetan People.
