Wow, I'm so glad you're all enjoying this :) sorry I never got around to posting the rest of the tracks, but as always, if you like these guys - pick up this album
This song is following the tradition of bad relationships common with Powderfinger. This song though, right from the start I'm sensing Hendrix influences. As I recall, some of the essences heard in this were also in the eithers of other songs during the Nam war that I was fortunate to avoid, yet should have attended with my brothers in arms. The chorus in this has hook. My favorite Powderfinger song right now. Thanks for posting it :)
OMG i was Just listening to this song the other day and i started crying my eyes out when it said "thats been there since the day that we parted and said our goodbye's" coz i rememberd my dog and how i never got to say goodbye to her XOXOX MISS YA BUMBY DOG <3 <3
This song was wrote after Bernard fanning's brothers death. Such a sad song. They are the greatest band ever, but now they are splitting up after 21 long years of harmony. The last of their concerts were great. Their music will carry on forever!
this song always makes me laugh at myself in the first 30 seconds. because its so spot on to what we have all felt at some point. seems so stupid looking back now. what a cracking song!! now it seems just serve's as a reminder of a lesson learned what a band!
@iloveknitting1 I fucking do :) Oz music is the BEST in the WORLD. I spent a year out there and I've never been the same since, my soul's there. I may be a Pom by birth but I'm an Aussie in my heart, mind, soul and spirit!!
Powderfinger's my fav band! Thanks to lurking on Heath Ledger's imdb page and seeing what kind of music he liked and there was Powderfinger! I love em' and this song. So I guess, thank you Heath Ledger for your awesome music tastes. RIP :'[
Even my guitar teacher doesn't know Powderfinger. xD But now he does and he thinks they rock! Learning the chords for Powderfinger's song I Don't Remember.
cheer up, pal - the main thing is you have discovered them... now enjoy! and know one thing - you are not the only one who loves this band ;-). good music is mostly not recognized by the majority.
Yeah, Bernard Fanning's brother died around 5 years ago (I think from cancer). I think Bernard puts all his emotions into this song and it must be really moving for him when he plays this song live.
Im actually using a friends account, but i just had to quickly say how much i think of this song, lots of passion, full of sorrow but yet there is hope. My favourite of the finger so far

This song helped me through my Father's death. Nothing like shouty plaintive rock to unleash the emotions.

I love this song. It almost sounds like he's wailing. So much passion in his voice and the lyrics.
I think that this song was written after his brother died.
I miss you MLGB. This ones for you.
