I love CGI Thomas, I think it's way better than the old ones where they have two or three set expressions and most of hem look angry or insane. I'm in my 40's and I'm so old I remember Thomas and friends when there were only books.

@KP371 I'm mixed on the emotions I feel...When I first saw this video today it tore my heart apart....i'm 19 so I remember the models and shining time station...so seeing this really make me upset...But i'm realizing that everything will be CGI sooner or later..and i'm now getting to LOVE CGI Thomas! I DO love that they have more emotion now! So really I'm a fan of both! :)

i used to have the thomas and friends trains when they were metal with the normal sized wheels. now they are wooden with oversized rubber wheels (quite ugly actually)

Well I grew up with quote unquote normal Thomas, and when I first learned of it I was upset, but now I actually really like it. The show's much more lively now.

@Rusty5 ehh. but there was just that awesome uniqueness built into the style of the old thomas. Using actual train models was so awesome. The moving eye's and changing of face plates where great. Honestly with CGI brought in thomas has lost a lot of it's uniqueness and just fell into the category of another basic little kids show. (and i mean the new thomas. the old one's are still unique)

The characters move their faces now!? This is insulting, no offence, but i like thomas the old way much better, the one that doesnt move his mouth or change expression like the way in this new cgi thomas, at least they still use the model trains

Uh, sorry to ruin your day, but this is the last season models of any kind will be used. This year Thomas is becoming fully-CGI, which we know has mixed reactions.
