  • It's fun to take a "standard" like this and hear the different interpretations, especially from one musical era. They really rock up this R & B tune. Seeing it went unissued for years also gives us an insight to Sam P.'s sensibilities. He had recorded a lot of blues [R & B] and was familiar with a lot of music. Interesting.

  • SUN records - Cradle of Rockabilly! ;-)

  • SUN was the best music label in the world.

  • oh yes, this take`s me back, not heard this for ages, thanks hepkat59

  • I first heard Narvel as a country artist. He had an unusual twang I didn't care for. But....as a rockabilly artist he is tuff enuff...!

  • nice song (:

  • Great song!

Narvel still performs that song live in 2008, and he is best as ever!
