cold machines isnt about marilyn manson. however the riff is similar to one of Manson's songs.

Nice album, better than Brutal Planet! The songs "Somewhere in the Jungle," "Fantasy Man," and "It's Much Too Late" are very entertaining!! Some songs seem like Brutal Planet... too "industrial," imitating other rockers. That being said though, "I just Wanna Be God" has the greatest lyrics though... illustrating the mindset of this "deify yourself" culture we live in!

Now don't get mad, but here's what I say about the album:

I love the album. The songs keep you in the story, and the darkness of the album keeps you up. But some songs like every women has a name, and Disgrace land are out of line. They work on this, but they might have worked better on another album.

Just a matter of opinion, but Dragontown is not in the same class as Last Temptations and Brutal Planet.
