Bravo.. Looks awesome.. This guy rocks. This guy may be onto something that could bridge the gap between dedicated ebook readers and tablets.. Hope he sells a ton and improves on this model further with another gen. I would love to see one of these and play with it.
Lots of reviews look at specs, performance and place importance on how much the thing can do - who cares? The reason I am buying one of these is to support this guys dream. Imagine designing and marketing your own pc and competing with the big brands? What a thrill!
looks pretty nice. I don't care too much for the form factor. Bezels kind of big and body isn't uniform. For $375 for the cheapest model it looks like a good deal. Considering it, but I kinda want to wait till i hear more about pricing on xoom wifi only, acer, and asus tabs
I think the standard look of android is dull. HTC does a great job with its sense UI. Notion ink has done the same, when honeycombe is available all I want from it is the market so the apps work correctly on a 10 inch device. Can't wait to get mine in the next few weeks hopefully fingers crossed lol
Wow, the the UI on this device is not very smooth. I've been falling this device for a long time but I no longer getting this anymore seeing how much improvement it still needs nearing release. I will wait for a more refine Android tablet.
Indian is going to be a huge maker of quality gadgets in the next few years, dismiss them at your own peril. I think notion ink will be a huge company with in 5years. HTC comes to mind, where was HTC five years ago. If you make great product you will make a great company.
This wont beat zoom for lots of reasons..first it is custom ui that needs dev to dev apps for it. Most people don't even know what an apk is. If palm can't get dev and their a big company who's gonna jump on this. Secondly Zoom is pure android. Android market and will get updated by Google. This will have the fate like many other tablets at CES disappear into oblivion.
@mnguyea Actually statistics show that people dont buy devices just b/c they are pure android. And dont get me wrong, all these big company custom UIs ruine devices but EDEN is the only one that actually ADDS to pure Android instead of impairs it. As far as the XOOM, the only thing it has going for it is that Google chose it to showcase the pure OS. Hardware wise it is pretty generic. But NI has said they will upgrade to 3.0 when it is available. When 3.0 comes ADAM will use the Android Market
@mnguyea besides what InvisiblePrinciple already mentioned, we don't know when Xoom will launch, while notion Ink has already sold their first batch of Adams. What sets Adam apart or me is the pixelQi display (for ebooks). I am buying one as soon as they make them available again.
This is the best tablet so far. If the Xoom has anything on this tablet its the fact that it has more support. notion ink i s a new company, and therefore have less support. Ultimately that will make or break the device.
Still it is my tablet of choice, but i will wait to see how well it gets supported before I purchase one.
I'd go for this one if it's not too worse than xoom and ipad2, just to support a new source of innovation.. but I hop Rohan took pointers on marketing from this time around, which honestly was a little weak. Leigons of fanboys/girls go only so far.
Keep on Keeping On Rohan! I look forward to shake the hand of the most innovation tablet creator of this century! I am behind you 1M%. Congratulation! Alvin
@FcoGalaz I dont know about the eee pad but the Adam will definitely be up for a second round of pre-order before the Xoom is even close to market stage. I dont think there is a chance of seeing the Xoom in stores before March, at least that is what I understand.
Also I think the first round of Adam pre-orders begins shipping on Jan 11, or maybe they start arriving , again not sure.

People, do understand that Notion Ink is a new but growing company. The Zoom was made by Motorola, an already established company.
