This is not an illegal hunt... the hunter did not shoot from a vehicle or the road. You sissys SHOULD move away from Montana, you're giving Real Montanans a bad name!
I find it interesting that the title states "illegal" bison hunt and wondering if you really know it's illegal? It appears that with all the traffic around the alleged "illegal" hunt that it would make me wonder if the title should be "legal". In addition, to kill a bison (or anything) so close to the road, with cars passing and spend the hours to gather the meat, I seriously doubt this being illegal. Be very careful as organization if the courts rule this legal and you are sued for damages.
Oh give me a home...where the buffalo are shot from the road...
I moved to Montana to enjoy the wildlife and shoot them from the road myself...but I chose a CAMERA. No one gets hurt and the animals remain here for everyone else to enjoy when I leave.
Yellowstone and Montana are NOT what people would expect. It's a killing field. Slaughterhouse in the outdoors. I'm thankful for my heroes, such as the BFC who fight for these innocent beings every day. Can't wait to move away myself.
Most know that hunters poach, they don't know, however, that their federal tax dollars fund USDA's Wildlife Services, who execute wildlife on behalf of ranchers. Coyotes, bears, cougars, wolves, bobcats, and bison are poisoned, gassed, burned alive, snared in traps, decapitated, pursued by helicopters, and baited to gunning stations. Howling For Justice reported 21 entire wolf packs were wiped out in 08 by Wildlife Services, in addition to 5 million animals deemed a ”nuisance” to ranchers.
GOOD WORK! What is the fine for illegal hunting? Probably NOT enough, but hopefully painful. Keep up the work! The more people caught doing this, the more others will think twice and hopefully choose NOT to shoot.
Good looking out, Buffalo Field Campaign! It is the wild west out there in Yellowstone! How are tourists and visitors to the park supposed to safely enjoy Yellowstone with gunslingers firing off their weapons from the highway!?
@CDLver It's definitely an outrage. If I came across this *amazing* site I would stop and take in every moment. Now I question ever wanting to visit this area because I would not want to duck and cover.
What a disgrace some humans are toward other Earthlings.
We all share this planet, we all have a right to be here.
Thanks to the poster on this video - perhaps the shooter will be caught and charged.
Oh and from my experience a truck ALWAYS blocks your view when you need it.
@CDLver When you enter the gates and the Roosevelt Arch in Yellowstone's north entrance the arch says "For the benefit and enjoyment of the PEOPLE"...they mean what they say. The Park is not for the benefit of the wildlife. It is to make money. A government "National" Park. A giant zoo. It's really a sad reality that people don't understand. Time to make them aware. It took me a decade of working in the Park to understand the truth. It's not pretty.
@maslater1313, Years of critical wolf-recovery research was destroyed along with the majestic wolves of Cottonwood, America's carefully studied backcountry pack of Yellowstone wolves who posed no danger to humans nor ranchers' livestock.
A wolf cannot set a paw outside that park without some gunslinger bulleting his body. 4 of the 10 wolves of the Cottonwood pack, 2 of whom were radio-collared, were gunned down by ruthless thugs who lured the pack outside Yellowstone Park boundaries.
