@meattube4u33 You are a retard. Your comment tells me you know nothing about gearing. On stock Supra gearing a Supra will hit 185mph at 6200rpm in 6th gear which falls in line with what you see here. RPM is the primary way to show speed. I see apparently you can't read a tachometer.

@kageryu311 actually with a stock axel ratio your supra will hit 185 at 6200 in 5th gear and 6th is a gas saver that gives you 60 mph at 1550 rpm and a theoretic 240 mph at 6200 rpm but it will need more than stock boost too get there, also 4th gear is a 1 to 1 ratio meaning the trannys input and output shafts will turn 1 to 1, now 5th and 6th are actually overdrive gears, that means the output shaft will spin faster than the input shaft, learn your shit fool or I will show your ignorance.

First gear: 3.827:1

Second gear: 2.360:1

Third gear: 1.685:1

Fourth gear: 1.312:1

Fifth gear: 1:1

Sixth gear: 0.793:1

the only gear that is an overdrive is 6th gear. 6th Gear at 60mph in a Supra will hit about 2500 rpm.

The only car I know that will hit anything near 1500 rpm at 60mph would be a corvette due to 3.47 gears. Please do some REAL research before making shit up.

@meattube4u33 Ryan woon's 1400rwhp supra can do 180mph top of 4th gear with the stock 6 speed,and I don't know if SW's supra has a stock 6 speed but it did 246mph top of 5th gear,but it seems like you guys are talking about bone stock supras..

@kageryu311 destroyed? well kinda, I saved my money and bought a supra turbo but it kept blowing head gaskets and then after a complete rebuild ( not cheap ) the bottom end went to knocking, so

I bought a take out engine from japan and it blew the dam head gasket I fixed that with a high end copper gasket and then the rod knock started again, so yea you could say I got destroyed, destroyed by the myth of toyota quality!

@meattube4u33 What did you have a fucking 7m because a 2JZ wouldn't do that to you. 7ms are garbage and most people know that. The 2JZ doesn't have head gasket issues and if it does then you have seriousl issues. the other thing is you cut corners getting some bullshit used JDM motor. I've owned my car for 2 years had no failures and the car runs fine. Quality of build and tuning, tuning, tuning keeps a motor alive.

I've seen all types of motors blow up. My buddy just had his foxbody blow up.

How well do you think the stock (obv upgraded fuel) long block will handle that turbo hooked to a th400 track environment

@DVcustomZ A 7675 IMO would be a little too big for the strip on a stock long block. A Turbo that size (76mm billet dual ball bearing) would make 1200whp turned all the way up. A safe power level on a stock 2JZ would be around 800whp through a 6 speed. The turbo in this vid will get you there with a better powerband than the 7675 and would give you enough wiggle room to hit 900whp. Through a TH400 you will make about 700whp but do 1/4 miles and trap speeds of a Supra making 800whp. About 9s 1/4s

@kageryu311 I figured 7675 so I would have room to grow. I plan on running full slick skinny's with a full weight of abt 2300lbs. BTW what is the limit of the 5spd? My intention is to start out in the 10's go to 9's get my skill level up ultimate goal is 7's. It will take time but I am tired of streetable cars.

@DVcustomZ If thats the case a 7675 should be good. On the stock bottom end I wouldn't push it beyond 32psi or 800whp to be safe. When you decide to build the motor the 76mm is good for as much as high 8s on boost alone and mid 8s on boost and spray depending on the size of the jet and when you spray.
