hmmmm ok i HONESTLY am in love with Reggae music and Jimmy Cliff's contribution toward it...he is a great artistand i was truly moved by this performance....BUT i can see the skepticism in people's belief that he is actually singing. If you scroll to 3:26 there is a glitch in the vocals sounding like a glitch in autotune...listen carefully. I produce music aswell as shaped by the music of Mr Cliff and the entire reggae movement...STILL an amazing performance. Nuff Love. Bless!

Easiest way to tell that this is not lip synced is a) His time is before the current generation of no talent bums who can't sing. He can sing. And b) the guitars, pianO and so on are also out. And I don't think you can lip sync live guitar...

ppl has to know about music before they comment bullshit !! jimmy is a great artist and have no reason to lip sync even at his age , it is a live recording ! the music is live also from the band,even the version that he perform here is different , in conclusion it all has to do with the recording from the TV studio! and the AUDIO that is transfered to the you tube video was not perfect!! the UPLOAD PROCESS !! its a lot of factor that could cause this , but i am sure jimmy was singing LIVE!!

The first studio I went to in Jamaica was his, I was just a kid, about 20 yrs old, and was there to do a demo for my first single, and watched him rehearsed the same songs over and over tirelessly. They all sounded sooo perfect, and my childish indisiplined mind wondered why was he practicing them ;-) Now I know why. And when my childish and indiscipline students gets frustrated with praticing their songs I encourage them and tell them about Jimmy Cliff and that day at his studio. 1 luv bro!

Yup, falling skies brought me here too. It's amazing, because after 35 years listening to every genre of music there is, I've never found a song I would call "my song", but this one is it.
