@ashwinchester Sugar Gliders are arboreal (tree dwelling) marsupials closest in relation to possums. From Australia--some have been released in New Zealand and are now considered vermin, like we view rats.  (and they are exterminating them) They are NOT easy to care for. Their food is fresh and need LARGE cages. Please visit GliderCentral for information on these amazing creatures. As a rescue home, I placed over 500 gliders in less than ten years. Adopt an adult if you can!

@Area51andahalf OK let me tell you something. I have own three of these little guys, And you say they are hard to take care of. They are a whole lot easier to take care of than dogs and cats. I have raised all three of mine since they were babies. And I do not believe that you have placed that many Gliders in homes.. I am sorry. There just isnt no such thing as a Glider Resue. Sounding more like a scam to me.

@DouglasRigney Well--I have had over 75 gliders at once as a rescue home, & yes there are rescue facilities, check Glider Initiative, All4Gliders etc. Care-you don't clean a cage, you dont' feed fresh food or worms to cats or dogs. As for my placement numbers, Ask Bourbon, USA's most respected glider expert. In 16 years I have worked with them, (10 of rescue) we have had rescues that were over 100 gliders that had to be moved immediately. Research sg rescues before you call someone a liar.
