yeah kinda, you gotta bond with some characters by talking, visiting their home village, doing sidequest, etc, to get certain endings...

ohh and also by fighting toghether you can get the characters to bond between themselves..

and yeah maybe someone can explain me how to get opera (i understood that ernest comes with her) i remember i looked for her everywhere till i was pissed off.now that i got this game on my emulator i could try again

First do a private action at the cross castle, then after you defeat the tournament of arms go to the port on that continent, (no private action) and you should see her at the bar. I'm pretty sure that's how it's done..

i finished it 2 or 3 years ago but i dont remember what endings i had.i guess where they both were on spaceship.

i got the rena and claud ending showing them in the spaceship...i'm sure thats the default ending but probably not the best one...i also herd theres a leon and opera pairing...which is really awkward...

In claude walkthrough, I got ending where Rena's affection is greater than Claude cause I only use Claude and Rena and also nvr recruit any new character. In Rena's side, Celine and Ashton got their own special ending while Chisato, Precis, Welch and Dias solo ending. And finally, Rena and Claude in the spaceship together. If u want to recruit welch u need to play the psp remake for this game, star ocean second evolution

i have yet to play second evolution so i dont know much about the different things about it like welch which sounds interesting that theres an completely new chracter. so it's not just the graphics that changed i see. but anyway in all my endings i always get the rena and claude one in the spaceship...it's getting boring, i should definately try to do something different to maybe get an alternate ending but even so it is still fun to play over and over but i really wish i had the psp one.

The first ending for claude-rena is to easy to get, you only need +1 to rena for that ending

The only good ending I had was the one where Claude stayed on Expel with Rena... Everyone else was alone.

Get Opera and before you head back to Lacour you must go to Arlia.Enter the deepest part of the forest(Where Claude landed) and a scene will start where Opera shows the spaceship she used to get to Expel.After you leave the Hoffman ruins( energy stone) another scene happens where you have to face a ghost that possessed Ernest to get the energy stone. Win and you will have the option to choose between having Ernest and Opera or lose them both.

My ending was so boring, I had Leon with Precis(loooove) Rena having Claude's baby and everyone alone. It's mostly because all of my game I used those 4 characters, lol.
