  • The side towers came with a set with Wilton house set. But i would use the cardboard thats inside of the paper towel rolls (I always save them for future projects). Simply roll your fondant on a brick pattern mat and roll over the plastic towers or your paper towel brown cardboard rolls. You can also see how i made towers on my ship cake in white to have an idea. Hope this helps.

  • AGheartforever- I used rolled fondant on a brick mat, cut to the height of the cake and attached it to the cake. The brick mat or plastic sheets are available at all cake decorating stores.

  • Thank You. Not bad for the first fondant covered cake. The rest after these were easy. I love fondant cakes.

  • very well done. i like it. i know what you mean about taking a long time. i made a truck cake for my sons 2nd birthday and it took me about 3hrs to do. i put a video on my page of me making it. the video is only 5 mins. long.
