Ermm, I don't think you fully understand what these competitions are for. It's not intended to impersonate someone or someone's song. It's a singing contest, it's about who is the best singer.

So it's more than normal that they would give their own touch to the song. Could also be that they have to change the song with regards to copyrights and such crap. Check some other songs from Lisa and you'll find out that she's one hell of a singer.
