nothing like the sound of a fresh start. something about the shitty timing, the smoke, and the fight to keep her runnin is almost better than when i help my son for the first time. a few years ago a 327 i did was especially stubborn. i ended up face over the carb and she backfired. needless to say, i shaved my head the first time ever that night. still my favorite build ever.
@502c10 Funny for you. my wife still hates herself for being the person to start the truck that day. I probably needed to shave my hippie head anyway. car sounds like a million bucks man. hard to find even the best built new car today that can match that sound.
it dynoed at 240 at the wheels before the build... after it was at 307.... prob wouldof been higher if the pushrods werent all bent from them picking out a cam that was to big for the stock rockers... oh yea and the heads were destroyed after they "ported" them out... never let a tecker do work on your car!!!!... free labor isnt worth it when they destroy your shit!!!
So they let you work on your own cars there too? I'm planning on attending the one in long beach next year and have a car that needs major fixing if the instructor let us work on it that would be awesome.
@ChanceGTO1967 Blairsville, and I have no idea, ill try to get ahold of the owner for ya, ive got another vid of this camaro on my channel, check it out and subscribe!
Was waiting for them to add oil, before it all burned off
