My sadness is that all the kids that FB, Twitter, Tweet...et al...will never know Ms. Peggy....perhaps it is age...perhaps it is just remembering......and the inability to convey that such talent might never be observed. Sad.
you cannot say "all the kids" because I am here and always appreciate Peggy Lee, Shirley Bassey, Olivia Newton John, B.B King, and so on. Youtube is like a time machine for me, and I realize that I was born in the wrong time : (

I'll never forget seeing Miss Lee in Pittsburgh Pa. years ago and she was GREAT. That beautiful sultry voice AHHHHHH.
