I'm so glad that Palm Beach 1028 did not split these two songs like some would have. The first time that I heard these songs was in combination, together. Eban Luck, An early WGCI dj would always play these songs together during his late night radio show. One day at a friends house, she only played "Key To My Heart" and stopped after the song finished. She didn't let "You're Besides Me" play. broke the mood for me.

I carried Winner Takes All with me to the Philippines as a 18 year old USN sailor. I soon after brought a monster Aiwa Boom Box and listen to some part of this album nearly everyday. Love this entire album, but these two songs stayed with until this day. The transition, right where Your Beside Me kicks in @ 3:46 , .."No I'm not alone"... DAMN that shit still blows me away! The elder Isleys always sounded like they were singing in street corners when they were singing together (as they probably were when they grew up in Cincinnati). Isleys forever.
