ATTENTION! If you recently installed a new video card and on accident plugged in the audio and are still having trouble with this, take out the video card and put it back in with out the audio stuff. (Only if you have the Hauppage WINTV HVR-1600 NTSC/ATSC Combo)

@kur0za Yep. Its your native audio driver. My laptop has the Sigmatel sound card. So I used that driver as an example, sorry I didnt make it clearer.

@kur0za Take note of your exact audio driver name so that you can download it from the manufacturers website if my method doesn't work. If you have windows vista or windows seven you should have the hibernate option. When you go into hibernate. Power back on and log in.

This probably means you will have to download the driver online. If you are unsure on the type of soundcard you have. Go to your computer manufacturers website and find your pc. Then check the name of the soundcard.
