Wow, this takes me back,forgot about the great meals back in the 70's. You couldn't take a three hour morning flight without them offering you breakfast.

God, I miss those meals. Sure it was only scrambled eggs and sausage but

it made my morning. Great commercial.

Wow!!! did you see the food in coach? Unreal!! The coach meals looked more appetizing than what is served in domestic first class today. And airlines today try to convince us that they offer great service to passngers. This was truly a fantastic  time to fly. United Airlines can't even offer coach passngers a free bag of nuts with a drink these days because they say it is too cost prohibitive. How times have changed.

@roughman998 Let's start with sky rising oil prices, bad economy, need to make a profit, airline deregulation (therefore more and more compatition) and many other factors that will make ticket prices go higher all the time, and comfort and amenities be less and less every time. It's the way it will be. No turning back :(
