Hey, so you know you can change the bass sound like the keyboard can right? Well, sometimes, especially when I work hard on a song for multiple days, the bass sound option suddenly disappears and the sound is just the regular bass. Does this ever happen to you? Is there something that triggers it?

When showing the custom song that you had already started creating, when you played it, the song played The Final Countdown. How do you add songs like that to the Ghmix? Or did you actually make all of the notes yourself? I've been wanting to upload my own music to my game and make notes for it, but I dont know how.

No...they say it's because of copyright reasons, but I'm not sure I believe that since vocals aren't the only things that can be copyrighted. If it were for copyright reasons, they wouldn't allow guitar, bass, etc. either. Unless I'm missing something.

Well, the thing about that is do you have any idea how many instrumentals and so on sound very alike? Especially basic notes, so I mean they cant really do anything about that really. Lyrics are a different story. However!! If you play that Zelda song thats popular, someone does do a voice, not lyrics, just a vocal sound, but still.

I guess I'm just saying that they could give the same reason for not including guitar since they take down (for example) remakes of zelda songs. They could say "we don't have guitar available for copyright reasons." Of course, they could use that excuse for the whole song maker, but only use it for the vocals.

It seems to me there has to be a different reason on top of copyright reasons.

quick question, not sure if you mentioned this in the vids or if someone asked but when i record with step record it skips ahead to far for me, i want to be able to put notes in between my notes and it wont let me put them that close to each other. How do i change it so i can space them closer together?

You're probably inputting them in as whole notes. With your D-PAD select the type of notes you want so say you want 8 notes in one bar, you would want to select 8th. There are 4 beats in a bar which would be your 1 2 3 4 count. The notes in between this would be an 8th note so it'd be 1 and 2 and 3 and 4.

You also have 16ths etc. 16ths would be

I don't know if you're a musician and know much musical theory. If not then look up some on note lengths and it'll help.

It puts them in automatically or if you play the guitar in just hammer on and pull off as you would if you was playing.

Hit start and select scale in GHMIX.

Just hit start, goto scale, then select custom at the bottom. You can then put what ever note you want for each button.

Can you change the scale for different parts of the song, so the notes dont always sound the same?

Yes. When yuo change scale, any notes you've put in previously remain the same. E.G. You put a E on the green button and then change the green to a F. The E will remain on the chart.

For the speed.... can u adjust it afterwards to see if it sounds better? And do you have to make it for expert and it auto does it for the other modes and can you make your own lyrics and star power?

You can change tempo at any time.

You program it for expert and then the game reduces the difficulty for you.

There are no vocals in game for it at all.

It puts the star power in for you.

I think you were able to record the tones of your voice or something, but not actual lyrics. Tones like aaaaahhhh oooooooohhhhh, etc and you just sing the lyrics over those tones.

On PS3, with a MIDI cable you can record MIDI from your PC to the game. On Xbox this can only be done with drums due to hardware issues.
