  • could you use this cymbal for rock or just metal? it sounds like a great rock ride

  • Beautiful, i plan to seriously buy this. I've heard the same cymbal in different sizes and unfortunately size does matter. Although it is huge and, in another brighter video showing the same size 24", it wobbles when played but does not make a washy sound despite its size. And the bell? hooweee.... Greatest cymbal i have ever heard.

  • Although I have a wonderful vintage 24 2002 medium ride I'm absolutely going to get one of those beasts!

  • Is it crashable?

  • @deftones720 Doubtfull, It's huge and heavy. It would have a very loud, abrasive crash.

  • totally agree, amazing bell, but average rest of the ride

  • wow this one is beautiful...

  • The bell is AMAZING... but im losing interest in the rest of the ride

  • I really really really like the bell!!!!!!!

  • I love this

  • Nice sound :)

  • Great sound ! The ping is not too noisy and the bell is fantastic !

  • Perfect jazz cymbal :-)

  • @Bsommer100 jazz cymbal? isn't it too pingy for jazz?

  • @allmetaliswelcome hah yes, I was totally kidding. way to pingy AND bright for any light playing.

  • i want a versatile ride that has a nice ride sound, but also crashes nicely. any suggestions?

  • @MATTlovesDRUMS Check out the Sabian HHX Groove Ride.

  • its amazing how something so big and heavy can make such a pingy sound

  • This ride is sooo cool

  • i need that ride!

  • So not only does this cymbal have great stick definition and lots of volume, but beautiful overtones also? Somebody get me some tissues to clean off my keyboard.

  • I'm a Paiste fan but I like this cymbal very much. Way better than the HH PowerBell in my opinion...

  • It's awesome but man it's expensive... it's like 400 euros :|:|:| (or at least at most music shops in Holland...)

  • what kind of sticks is he using?

  • @TAPION724 Vic Firth Peter Erskine Ride Sticks - Wood Tip

  • @memphisdrumshop what crash is that to left

  • I was wondering if this ride is good for rock and grunge music?

    Thanks The Oracle

  • i'd move to memphis just to play some of the stuff this shop has, and i live in england.

  • i've got one of these and it's a great cymbal. you should've crashed it for the video too though as IT'S ESPECIALLY GREAT FOR CRASHING! LOUD!

  • thats gonna be ONEE heavy cymbal

  • Opinions on whether to get 24" AA Metal X Ride or 22" AAX Metal Ride?

  • @84Mtac I prefer the AAX metal ride, but both sound great :D

  • Hey drum shop what would you recommend a 22 A ping ride or this metal x ride

  • @NoShaDow36 Depends on what style of music you're playing.

  • this seems so versatile for its size

  • i just bought this ride and i luv it

  • This cymbal is pretty dry and the bell is quite tight. May be the stick too. I'd use a bigger stick and maybe even the butt end to get more out of it. Still sounds good though.

  • lol, that would not even enter on my cymbal bag xD

  • The bell can freakin' SING.

    the qoute ehhhhahaha

  • The bigger the better, usually.

  • Ow awesome tone. so good!

  • How does the 22" compare to the 24"?

  • the 24" is 2" bigger than the 22", obviously more wash and a louder bell

  • And the pitch will be lower and projection of the bow louder as well.

  • It's really good, pretty much the same tone, just lower pitch. The bell can freakin' SING.

  • it reminds me a little bit .. the AA metal x ride 24 but lets be honest this is cutting ass hell .. gorgeous ride !!
