I have to admit it sounds awesome except that I feel the emotional sound "Libera Me from Hell" is supposed to have is sort of lost when mixed with Remilia's theme. Doesn't this song play when a very important character decides to make a heroic sacrifice and thus the pump of the song further impacts the idea that they will never be seen again? It's just not Remi, she doesn't do the impossible, she just makes it happen just because she wants it to. (Might work if her song was sadder sounding)
I think it's apt. Gurren Lagann has the running theme about fighting (and destroying) fate. Remi's power is that of manipulating fate. You can take that for meaning that they would work in tandem or against each other completely. (I think the latter is more fun to imagine.) And if you want a sadder sounding version of Remi's theme, look up Priere.
THOSE. FUCKIN'. SHADES. Don't look good on Remilia, that they don't.
