@xin0 That's an accentuation of the action. A more elaborate form of what animators call "squash and stretch". Seasoned afans of animation would appreciate the fact that a lot of the scenes in alpha are shot with a lot of action in one shot, not your typical one shot lunge anime fight, with flashing backgrounds.

Don't get me wrong, but in a way, I really like the fact that we see the good guy beat up a girl. This is taboo in things like Hollywood movies, even though there IS a girl trained in fighting, we never see the hero really hurting her. Why? Just because it's considered wrong.

But here, we see the heroine get beat up by the girl, but it's alright! They're fighters! She's the disciple, he's the teacher. And it ends with good will. It IS alright, after all! Am I making any sense to any of you...?

I strongly hate dubs. Near 3 decades viewing anime/hentai both US & Jap languages and none have convinced me to prefer the latter.

nah...Dubs are alright sometimes, if they use a good voice actor that is. Like Jet Li's American voice actor dub, I seriously like that guy's voice, it makes you think that's exactly how Jet Li should sound in english.

But I like watching Subtitles! When reading subs...sometimes I think the foriegn language they speak are actually talking english O_o

well ya cant really say that all japanese voice acting is perfect. unlesss you are japanese and trully trully undertand the language. there are alot of bad dubs out there but not nearly as much as way back in the late 80's and early 90s. you do have to admit, they have improved over the last few years.

I admit I can't say all Japanese voice acting is perfect, but I'd rather watch it that way then some "even-less-perfect" dub just to spare myself for a lot of reading. Anyway, I haven't claimed that Japanese voice acting is anything near perfect. I'm only saying that when it comes to any cartoons or, especially, films voiced in some strange language you have no idea what is, it's actually better to watch it that way with subs then a badly synchronised dub. But I'm cool with peps who watch dubs.

From what I picked up the Hadoken is just a secret move and the killer intent resides within the style, "not" the move itself. I don't know, there's no evil Ryu in the actual Street Fighter series and the Alpha series is just a spin off. Nothing to take seriously.
