@MJMcGreg926 Well, from a biological standpoint, the ooze is supposedly mutantnagetic, meaning it's exposure can mutate anything around it via radiation waves. So, I have 2 explanation; 1. The ooze seeped through his body as he digested it, causing radioactive waves through his skin and pores as it carried through his bodies, or 2. Its a movie, it doesn't need much explanation.
