GUYS GET IT STRAIGHT JUST BECAUSE ONE ARTISTE MAKES A TUNE ON A BEAT DOESNT MAKE IT THERES, IN JAMAICA IT IS THE NORM FOR DIFFERENT ARTISTE'S TO USE THE SAME BEAT...THE BEATS ARE CREATED BY DJ'S AND THEN THE ARTISTE PAY TO USE THEM. SO STOP THIS WHOLE BULLSHIT.....IN JAMAICA WE CALL IT RIDDIMS AND EVERYONE HAS ITS OWN NAME
A few? years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
pabitot, ur an idiot. she is NOT white. she is jamaican and she is REALLY famous is jamaica just to let you know. Marllon is correct on her backgrounds. Maybe you should get your information in check before coming on here looking like a total dumbass.
this is the way to see if a someone is lipsyncing, you can't sing if you move to much so lots of moving ie dancing cartwheeling ect means that they are lipsycing. my point is tami is obviously concetrating on getting the words right and such
Hm, I like the song, but I dont like the backings so much the same as Sean Paul used in "we'd be burning", it's so close- you play the two songs side-by-side.
Tami is a Jamaican (.) Yes she maybe mixed with a whole lot of somthin which brings me to the point that alot of Jamaicans are also. She represents our Motto, the nature of our pple and the name of her album to the fullest -- "Out of many... one (People)". She doesn't care about such trivialties as the exact porportions of her mixed ethnicity and neither do we..(being a person of Spanish, African and Chinese decent.. i kno). I am a Jamaican and always will b so u pple need to cut the crap.really
I'm a gay male, so clearly, I don't find females attractive. I just looked at your page and you're from Ecuador, so I'm already assuming that you're going to reply with a homophobic comment since Ecuador is generally not nice towards their gays, but whatever.
No she does not, she has Chinese Jamaican and British Jamaican ancestry, but she's also a mix of more ethnicities. Tami Chynn is 3/8 Chinese Jamican, 1/4 British Jamaican, 1/4 Black Jamaican, and 1/8 Cherokee. Overall, Tami Chynn is a mix of four ethnic groups and four races, whereas you are merely a product of two races.
@locatrinbagonian i can understand why some people might have come here to listen to this song, only to comment on it negatively. i heard that the song had the same riddim as sean paul's "we be burnin" (one of my favorite songs). compared with "we be burnin," this song is disappointing. (in my humble opinion.) it's slick, upwardly-mobile commercial reggae (or jamaican pop, or whatever........).
I love this song. Tami is very talented. I met her and took a picture with her at The Latin Expo in Hartford, CT. That said, Tami should be a big hit in the U.S. already, what is her management team doing with her career??????
yeah sure man,it vybz katel-tic toc,da man deh a di boss, very lyrical.u check out some of his other songs and try hear all the words, and of course do the same 4 tami chynn, the r marvelous artistes.
Sean Paul doesn't own the beat, the beat is own by Renaissance disco. If you search for the steps riddim medley video you will see this is the first song in the video. Which means is was probably recorded before "we be burning".
no soca? you kiddin... some of the ppl involved in reggaeton admitted it... that beat that they always usin is HEAVILY influenced by soca...but it's still a mess
Black Panamanians are the foundation of Reggaeton Many are descended from Jamaicans who worked on the Panama canal and settled in a city called Colon They were the first to do Reggae in Spanish PR picked up on it later The beat for what we call Reggaeton today comes from 4 Jamaican songs 1 Shabba Ranks "Dem Bow" 2 Chaka Demus & Pliers "Murder She Wrote" 3 Mr Vegas "Heads High" 4 Mr Vegas "Pull UP"
Not forgetting soca, if there is soca influence it's minimal. Before Puerto Ricans started calling this music Reggaeton, they called it Dem Bow from Shabba's song. Listen to their songs then play Dem Bow. Even now Puerto Ricans are still making songs where they are chanting Dem Bow. I'm a Jamaican with Puerto Rican and Panamanian relatives. I'm not new to this music, seen the evolution of this music from Panama to PR and how Puerto ricans try to discard the role of Panamanians.
Click on my You Tube name see a video I uploaded called Shabba Ranks Vs El General Dem Bow check out the December 2006 issue of JAMROCK Magazine, they named the Dancehall riddims thats used in Reggaeton Rent the movie "Feel The Noise" the bonus feature talks about the origin of Reggaeton. Even a show called "Despierta America" on the spanish language channel Univision they traced the history of Reggaeton, From Jamaica to Panama to Puerto Rico. Panama started it Puerto Ricans made world wide.
Misana, There is an album called "Reggae Espanol The Panamanian Connection" it has Reggae songs by Jamaican artists & the Panamanian (spanish) remake of those songs. It was released in 1990 or 1991. You can hear the standard Reggaeton (Dem Bow) Beats on some of those songs as well as other Dancehall and Roots Reggae beats. Also check out the interview on YOU TUBE of NOTCH former member of Born Jamericans he does Reggaeton now and he talks about the origin of Reggaeton Tami Chin's song is GREAT
Not trying to argue, but what I said can be easily verified. I'm done with this discussion also. This discussion should be about the very talented Tami Chin. I Love this song (Hyperventilating)!!!!!
additionally the standard reggaeton Riddim which is the Dem Bow song comes from Pocomania, meaning "small madness". Pocomania is a religious sect in Jamaica based on African spiritual practices and beliefs. People practicing Pocomania would sing and chant to this riddim. This is the origin of the standard Reggaeton (Dem Bow)riddim.
Sean paul's beat???AHAHAH! this RIDDIM is called stepz riddim and a lot of artits "posed" on it before sean paul...Capleton,elephant man,T.O.K,wayne marshall,Frisco kid or tamy shynn....sean paul version is just the commercial's side
The video for smirnoff Ice Hyperventilating was nicer to look at. Tammar is so talented and I love her music to death, I jus wish that her video producers would have better video ideas
for you people who dont know jamaica is one big melting pot everybody mix up....all jamaicans are not black , white , indian or chinese, them al mixed and thats the beauty about jamaica nobody categorizes race down there...... out of many one people..... tami gwaan run di place... big up

God yall should go away more often, so senseless....tami is an excellent singer.. and jamaicans comsists of many races, inidan chinese black and white... tami is mixed she has obviously pulled the fair gene and you can see the chinese in her!!!!
We have never had a contemplation in Jamaica as to who is white, green, pink or blue. This is something new to Jamica. Perhaps, it's not Jamaicans who are contemplating race /colour. If it us Jamicans who are leading such a debate, it would be sad to know that we will be taking a turn on the downward slope. Total backwardness!!
I was not being racitst or anything i was just saying that the ethnic mix she had was interesting becasue i did not know waht her ethnicity was sorry for the confusion and i do think she is really pretty
I tihnk her ethnic mix is very unique and impressive. That by itself will set her aprat from many other stars. I also love this song and think she is very sexy! This song is way better then Temprature the beat and flow with this version is so much better tehn the original
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't post this comment to at least 3 videos, you will die within 2 days. Copy and paste this, to be saved
by the way, does it matter what colour she is? her dad is chinese, and her mom is a light-skinned black woman. either way, hse's Jamaican, and we're proud of her. check out her sister Tessanne, she has a couple videos on youtube too.

by the way, does it matter what colour she is? her dad is chinese, and her mom is a light-skinned black woman. either way, hse's Jamaican, and we're proud of her. check out her sister Tessanne, she has a couple videos on youtube too.
