@datblkkidjason it's a Crate GLX 15 watt practice amp. It is an awesome lil amp if you can get your hands on one, well worth it. Clean tone is great too.

just checked out one of your vids...you have stock pick ups...i've an 1996 ibanez RGR527 LTD fantastic guitar to play, old wizard neck before they moved manufacture out and quality went down... changed out the neck pickup to "air norton" and have "steve special" at the bridge, best thing i have ever done, never looked back since

Here is a tip for ya!

Keep your pick really stiff until you can play through the notes at an even tempo (No slurring or rushing) Then lighten up to work on the desired tone!

The tone comes from my fingers, how my pick hits the strings and my mind.

! Thank you! It depends on the person and how well they know how to train themselves but, I would say it takes about 4 years if you never played guitar.

If you been playing 6 months it might take only a couple years depending on what you already know.

Check out the south Florida Band "Rusted Through".

The Guitar player was my student. He has been playing for 6 years with good instructor.

Playing for 18 years. Practice about 2 to 3 hours a week. Play a lot though. When I was Younger I practiced 6 to 8 hours daily but that changed as things do.

Honestly, it's just a matter of practice. You can just focus on the left hand like a legato technique until you have memorized the patterns. That's really the key, is memorizing the shapes to where they are like second nature. Otherwise it won't sound natural. Keep an Eye out for a new lesson I will be posting on arpeggios.
