I visited this cemetery in about 2003 - It is an awe-inspiring place, yet so sad to see so many grave sites - many who are unknown. I think it's great that it is kept up in remembrance of the fallen soldiers.
So sad. What a waste. Too bad the other officers didn't disobey Hood, and do the right thing.
