I have a suggestion for the "innocent" Palestinians. Why not oust Hamas? Too simple, complaining about Israel and playing the sympathy card is more convenient.

I wonder what would happen if not only Israel but the world could see that the Palestinian people were sick of being oppressed by their own brothers and were fighting back, maybe people would be more supportive if they saw action!

@saadasim actually the gazans launched over 10,000 rockets into Isreal in the 7 years prior to operation Cast Lead. Hopefully the gazans will rethink attacking Israel, for the sake of their children.

On 12/19/08 a fragile 6 month temporary truce was set to expire. Israel's violation of the ceasefire on 11/4 triggered sporadic violent clashes along the border. Israel stepped up of the blockade of Gaza, which had been in place since 2007. On 12/18, with a surge in cross-border fighting, Hamas confirmed the end of the ceasefire, and indicated its refusal to renew it absent an Israeli commitment to abide by its conditions.

Israel sees what you do not, that being that there will never be peace with the palestinians, ever. The charade must end, peace is not possible. Israel will do what is in her own best interests and the palestinians blew their chance to be considered.

@LukeLegere Here are my sources, read the charter of hamas and fatah, they can be found on the internet. In their own words they vow to never accept peace with Israel and to fight until Israel is destroyed. There is no way to deal rationally with such people. The Oslo accords called for them to amend the charter and accept Israels right to exist in peace but they never did, and, they never will. That makes them radical, irrational, dysfunctional, hate filled people.

@Maxwedge12000 1. the fatah were at peace with the israeli's before hamas was elected into power. the fatah and hamas are two opposing political forces and two group them together is wrong. the oslo accords called for a 5 year internment period of ceasefire in which they would hold further meetings and agree on a permanent resolution for peace. the permanent negotiations would begin no later than 1996, they were never held and when hamas took power they refused to keep the promises
