Watching Old Videos of the Beatles on youtube is already an amazing experience any day, but seeing a band live that sounds like them is just a dream , a dream that will come true in March in Salt lake city Utah! and I'm just too excited.... just like when australian pink floyd plays. aaah can't wait.
I've see this group and another group (the Mahoney Bros) live. Hands down the Mahoney's are better. They play at Altlantic City most of the time. Have played all over the United States though, even including Hillary Clinton's birthday party. Longest running Beatles imitators, did the original Legends in Concert in Las Vegas, and the original play "Beatlemania", in New York.
For you people who THINK you know what you're talking about, this show is about 95% live. Yes, they ARE singing. Yes, they ARE playing their instruments. But there are a few sequencers. Such as the handclaps in I Want To Hold Your Hand and maybe some effects during their Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour sets. But they're amazing, and the next best thing to The Beatles. Appreciate them and don't knock them, okay?
I'm a die-hard Beatles fan, but they are FAKE!!! Pre-recorded, by who knows? They just pretend to be the Beatles, and pretend to sing, and pretend to play the instuments!!! How can any Beatles fan go along with this rubbish?
Sorry, only one sub, not two. Not bad these days, with the Broadway run going through the rest of 2011. I'm seeing Rain in LA in two weeks, who knows what cast we'll get at the Pantages Theatre.
I am one of the original, dyed-in-wool Beatles fans, and I think Rain is still a worthwhile, in-person experience. Believe me, it does sound much better that way than on a YouTube video. I really appreciate how hard they work to bring as much authenticity as they can to their performance.
Was I as thrilled as hearing McCartney doing the songs in person? Of course not. But it still gets the good feelings and memories flowing.
@HardDaysNight44 There are many Beatles tribute bands. This is the ONLY ONE that I have seen that are pre-recorded garbage. They don't sing, or play. Just posers!!!!
I saw them in March, the only member I recognized was George. they had Alex as Paul, David Leon as John, not Ralph as Ringo...Steve Landes who plays John, was there, but not in costume...I talked to him but wanted to be low-key.

That's Steve Landes as John, Graham Alexander as Paul, Ralph Castelli as Ringo, but I can't tell who's playing George. Anyone?
missyandbrady 11 months ago
Actually, only two are "subs," which isn't fair either since they're all "Rain."
missyandbrady 11 months ago
@missyandbrady what isnt fair? what happened to ralph castelli then?

I just saw them on Feb 15 and it was a guy named Alex Smith. He was good, but I was also hoping to see Joey C.
ingeniousdolt 3 years ago
Funny because I saw them on Feb 7 and it was Joey C. But they had an alternate drummer. It was Joe Bolona in-place of Ralph Castelli

In the words of Alex...
"When Joey needs a rest, I step in. When I need a rest, Joey steps in."
Alex does do most of the East coast shows but neither one of them are locked in by a regional boarder.
