  • Raidens, why?

  • Ever see DSPgaming play this?

  • @Trynant

Hey buddy when are you putting together more vids? I'm sure you're busy but would love to see some action on this channel!

  • @snowden421 Honestly while I might get something up soon I don't see myself making videos until holidays have blown over :(

  • great walkthrough for Demon Souls. I'm really looking forward to whenever you do Dark Souls. I really appreciate your explanations and skill

  • Which one is harder? Dark souls or Demon souls?

  • @kapewaken Dark Souls

  • @Trynant I find Dark Souls a lot easier compared to Demon's Souls.

  • When you say Atlus... I'm guessing your talking about the SMT section? Though Etrian Oddyssy is right up there.

  • @Malus55 Etrian Odyssey, SMT games, some of their other ones (Odin Sphere was brutal as was Rondo of Swords)...there's a reason they call it Atlus hard.

  • Enjoyed this video and, because of the visual content, am very curious about the start of Dark Souls :D

Demon's Souls not hard? Roflroflrofl, say that when you try playing it blind and not watching someone experienced in the game play through it :P

  • Eh, the hardest part of the game is getting a grip on the controls and flow of the gameplay. Sure figuring out stuff slows you down but it's not like it's still hard once you know the tricks (unlike Ninja Gaiden, Megaman, Super Meat Boy, IWBTG, etc.). Even not knowing what's ahead is still doable with careful observation and some clever thinking.

  • @Trynant *shivers* The only one I've played of those is Super Meat Boy and that were dastardly slippy on the controls or speed of projectiles etc. I've seen IWBTG and frankly, it seems like a masochistic idea :P

The 'getting to know the tricks' bit is what makes the game hard since there might not even be indicators of the tricks so you have to figure them out from scratch, no help :)

  • @HinataLover93 I'm pretty sure there's no part of Dark Souls that you can't avoid with using careful observation. Example: that dragon on the bridge? There's scorch marks on the bridge--something is up.

  • @Trynant Very few people are THAT attentative to details and who knows how long people try wearing armor thinking it really helps a lot? It's a lot of smaller things bundling together like that :)

Tiny details? Yeah, that's the difficulty.

  • @HinataLover93 Actually as far as armor goes it's actually pretty useful in Dark Souls; because wearing heavy armor makes you more resistant to being knocked around (i.e. you can drink that potion and not worry about a zombie interrupting your healing with a stray chop).

  • @Trynant I were refering to Demon's Souls... I imagined armor did more than just give you damage protection in Dark Souls because games and mechanics evolve, it'd be too simplistic if they didn't give it some other benefits :)

  • Also, the only time I turned off the system to avoid losing souls is when the netcoding was causing shit to be horrible and I got cheap backstabbed FROM THE FRONT... and no, I wasn't parried/reposted. Bah.

  • Y U NO FIGHT ASYLUM FOR HAMMER?!

    :P

But ya, if you have bombs, 1 minute fight. Bomb 4 times then punch to victory. Or, be total badass like me and punch him to death (broken sword and punch do same damage). 30 minute fight.....

  • just beat dark souls like 5 mins ago and i can say...that if you thought DEMONS SOULS was hard compared to dark souls its like a childs playground THIS GAME WAS insanely hard this was my hardest AND best game ive EVER played. The feeling when u complete the game is awesome its like achieving a huge achievment
