  • Same day as the Joplin tornado, yeah? Man, nature did not like us that day.

  • I saw it out my window over on the north side (It grazed my block and the block down is now tree-less), but I never looked that big, although I don't know what time this was taken and I could care less about the time that I saw it.

  • WTF is that in the clouds

  • @avaiae

A reflection on the window this was being filmed through.

  • wow was in it was in the aftermath never new it was that huge ... i was a block before penn and broadway in a car when it passed in front/ over us .. and after it passed i ran from 26th and penn to lowry and logan it looked like world war 3 ... thank good more people were not hurt

  • wow was in it was in the aftermath never new it was that huge ...

  • Wow great shots, thanks for putting on, I didn't see ANYthing like this shown on local tv. wonder why.

  • its huge, and its a wonder its only EF1

  • wow...im glad i dont live in north minneapolis. but i live close! i hope everyone is ok!

  • Can everyone stop worrying about them selves? I understand you might have been hurt or one of yours truly was hurt or killed but honestly too much selfishness what about the others humans, nature, animals? we have had lots of weather problems in the USA but stop worrying about your self okay!

  • @minimoe76 were you there?

  • Wow this is the first footage I've seen of someone who actually got the Minneapolis tornado on camera!

  • It looks like a f-2 probably a f-3

  • @LORDSESSHOUMARU18 Its impossible to determine that just by looking at the tornado itself. Some wedge tornadoes look big but are weak, you need to look at the damage. Having said that, the damage I've seen and the weather channel is saying, its likely a EF2

  • @LORDSESSHOUMARU18

It was officially classified as an EF2.

  • @LORDSESSHOUMARU18

Just wanna point out that you can't determine EF scale or tornado strength based on watching video, it has to be surveyed. This was a high-end EF-1 at its strongest

  • If possible, could you please give us some idea of the camera's location. This appears to be shot facing SW, but from where?

  • @sublib40 Hi there, it was shot in northeast Minneapolis and few blocks off of Marshall St. The view is primarily to the west.

  • @Zweb4Cast thank you its hard to watch

  • that is massive

    wow

  • @mjkingofmusicmj yeah, I'm shocked it didn't cause anymore damage then it did because it is so wide
